Xu Wei, a calligrapher in Ming Dynasty, was a schizophrenic. When he was young, he was wild and liked to study. He failed in the exam nine times and was not famous. He is a middle-aged clerk in the governor's office. And was accepted by Hu Zongxian as his staff. He is Wei Xu, an American border guard on the southeast coast of China. Later, when Hu Zongxian was killed, Xu Wei was afraid. He Junda, a mental patient in Guangzhou, relapsed and committed suicide. Later, he killed his wife and went to prison for five years. Because I studied calligraphy and calligraphy in prison, I gradually recovered from prison and began to travel. He went to Beijing, Juyongguan, Shandong, Hebei, and some places in Gannan and Fujian, which not only broadened his horizons, but also gradually improved his illness. It seems that traveling is also good for a person's spiritual recovery. He was 53 years old when he got out of prison. It is said that taking medicine for mental patients can only solve 40% of the problems, and most of them are psychological interventions to make them better. Xu Wei lived on death row for more than six years, and he also believed in Taoism. These behavioral therapy and psychotherapy have played a role. At that time, Qi Baishi admired two people who were willing to be his lackeys, one was Xu Wei, the other was Zhu Da, and Zhu Da was also a mental derangement. Zhu Yuanzhang, a descendant of Zhu Da, became a monk after the demise of the Ming Dynasty. His madness may have been faked, but then his spirit really went wrong. However, after living in seclusion for a period of time, he recovered from illness in Qingyunpu Scenic Resort Scenic Area and later became a famous painter.
Xu Wei's freehand brushwork flowers are shocking, bold and unrestrained, dripping with ink, informal in shape and unique in style, creating a new style of freehand brushwork with ink. Known as Ivy and Baiyang with Chen Daofu, it has a great influence on later generations and has always been praised by the world. Of course, his talent is also reflected in the creation of operas. His zaju "Four Sounds Apes" has been praised by Tang Xianzu and others, and it also occupies a place in the history of drama. His poems, paintings and calligraphy are full of a sense of injustice and vastness.
Xu Wei's calligraphy and plain calligraphy were particularly prominent in the early Ming Dynasty. After Zhu Yunming, Xu Wei's way of learning books, like Zhu Yunming, belongs to two kings and one vein without exception. He appreciates Wang Xizhi's character and calligraphy. As a fellow villager, he had a profound pursuit of Wang Xizhi, but it was the Song Dynasty that had the greatest influence on him, among which Mi Fei had the most calligraphy. He said excitedly in the postscript of the ink in the book Minnan Gong that I have read many books in Minnan, which are scattered and relaxed, and there is no such post. It's a piece of Wang Yang. I only saw it in Warwick. Without extensive research, he won't. He didn't make a proper evaluation of leisure, which shows that his understanding of Mi Fei is profound. Xu Wei is good at magnificent weeds, which are difficult for ordinary people to accept. His pen and ink are random and his paper is messy. He is extremely conceited about his calligraphy, and thinks that my book is the first, poem 2, text 3 and painting 4. On the topic of a book, he said that high books are not vulgar eyes, and vulgar eyes are not high books. However, this statement can also be said to people who know how to do things, but it is difficult to tell outsiders. No wonder, how many people know?
Twenty years later, after Xu Wei died in Xu Wei, Yuan Hongdao, a leader of the public security school, came across the manuscript of a poem by his friend Tao Wangling in Xu Wei. The manuscript is ugly, bituminous coal is black, and its shape is slightly rough. However, after reading a few articles under the lamp, I can't. I can't help sighing that this man is a modern man. Or the ancients? I didn't expect Tao Wangling to be pulled up and read all night, but also read it repeatedly, which woke up all the servants. Then Yuan Hongdao spared no effort to collect Xu Wei's manuscripts, study Xu Wei, and vigorously publicize Xu Wei. He believes in Xu Wei's Ellen Poe.
Xu Wei's loneliness can really be summarized by his own songs and books:
Half-life poverty,
The independent study roared in the evening breeze.
There are no pearls at the bottom of the pen.
Throw it in the wild vine.
Xu Wei, a great master, committed suicide many times because he thought Hu Zongxian was Yan Song's accomplice and was impeached to commit suicide. After the political return, I was afraid of being killed by Hu Zongxian. He deliberately played dumb to save his life, waiting for a chance to make a comeback. Finally, after the hope was completely extinguished, I had no choice but to rely on painting and calligraphy skills to survive. Hi! If you know that politics is sinister, why do you want to participate in politics?
Isn't this bowl of political rice for everyone? According to the legend of Li Zongwu and Xu Wenchang, old bureaucrats are as thick as walls and as black as coal. In history, how many honest men and thin-skinned literati without political backing have fallen on the political stage? This cannot but be said to be the sorrow of the literati as officials. You must know what skills a person has and what he is suitable for. How does a free, honest and straightforward scholar mix up in the officialdom? Status quo and personality determine success or failure. The political situation is turbulent, and choosing politics out of place is jumping into a fire pit. Only by choosing a career that suits your personality can you succeed. That Xu Wei is not a smart man. He is not sure about the current situation and follows the wrong person, at least politically naive. Not to mention a firm and unyielding warrior, there is even a little pursuit of fame and fortune and fear of death. Fortunately, its superb art of poetry, calligraphy and painting has been passed down from generation to generation, which makes future generations admire it immensely.
