Borrowing the design techniques of Suzhou gardens, we create a "Borrowing Scenery Room" in the owner's room. Strive to use the "Yu Yuan" of China and New Zealand to interpret Chinese style. The use of numerous wood colors is full of literati temperament. The use of color tone culture combined with Yu Yuan, a symbol of humanistic temperament, gives full play to the new Chinese style that combines modernity and tradition. In the space design, the stairwell is considered to be a patio so that it can be integrated into the living room. Adhering to the principle of spatial transparency in Suzhou garden design, the two "borrow views" to communicate with each other. Change the scenery as you move and enjoy the space. The use of lattice windows as partitions allows for leakage and longing. The new Chinese style is not a retro Ming and Qing Dynasty in the complete sense, but expresses the pursuit of the oriental spiritual realm of elegance, subtlety, dignity and luxury through Chinese classical elements.
The composition of Chinese style is mainly reflected in traditional furniture (mostly furniture from the Ming and Qing Dynasties), and decorations mainly in _ and red. Most interiors adopt a symmetrical layout, with an elegant style, simple and beautiful shapes, and strong and mature colors. The characteristics of traditional Chinese interior decoration art are symmetrical and balanced layout, correctness and stability, which fully embodies the spirit of traditional Chinese aesthetics. This project selects the colors and styles of the Chinese style as the main tone and combines them with the simplicity, nature and smoothness of the modern minimalist style to create a new Chinese style. Some Chinese-style furniture is used to reflect some nostalgic lifestyles; according to the owner's color trend, most materials are cool-toned, with some warm-toned furniture and accessories interspersed to reflect the warm feeling of the room; the overall shape design is simple and Grand, as a villa design, I personally think that in addition to grasping the overall design theme, the design of details should also reflect humanization and quality of life. The initial design requirement of this case was Chinese style, but after many communications with the customer, the designer reached a consensus: it is required to maintain the Chinese style. Be elegant and luxurious, but avoid the dullness caused by the Chinese style. So I have always thought that the style to be done is: modern Chinese style with Chinese elements in a modern environment.
The focus in the design process is how to integrate modern and classic and the proportion of each. The designer strives to create an open space form so that various design elements (such as Chinese-style window grilles, calligraphy, poetry, stone and modern glass, stainless steel and other elements) can be organically integrated, while accurately grasping the meaning of Chinese elements. Account for proportion, let Chinese elements become the main body, but not dominate, and strive to interpret the charm of Chinese style from a new perspective.

This project adopts modern and simple living streamlines to achieve a comfortable living life with an indoor living space that conforms to modern people’s living habits. The space layout inside, such as living room, dining room, bedroom, study room, etc., fully reflects the requirements of modern life. In terms of interior colors, this project uses red, dark red, white and other colors to create a modern Chinese-style atmosphere. In addition to retaining the Chinese charm, modern materials such as marble, glass, lamp strips, and bull's-eye lamps are also added to make the space contain the flavor of modern life; the soft tones are used in the lighting, breaking through the candlelight environment of traditional Chinese lighting. , using simple geometric shaped lamps. In terms of furniture matching, simple and tough straight-line furniture is used, which not only reflects the modern people's pursuit of simple living requirements, but also caters to the restrained and simple design style of Chinese furniture, making the modern Chinese style more practical and modern.
