The first issue of "National Treasure" introduced three cultural relics: the map of a thousand miles of rivers and mountains by Ximeng, the glass vase of Emperor Qianlong, and the stone drum in the pre-Qin period.
Among the three cultural relics, the most impressive one is the stone drum, which is known as "the first antique in China". Chinese characters carved thousands of years ago not only record the history, but also are an indispensable part of the evolution of Chinese characters, paying tribute to ancestors. The stone drum has ten sides, two feet high and more than a foot in diameter. The image of the drum is thin on the top and thick on the bottom, and the top is slightly round (actually round). Each stone drum weighs about one ton.
As already mentioned in National Treasure, there is a kind of writing engraved on the stone drum, which is the transition from Da Zhuan to Xiao Zhuan. Its content is a group of ten poems. Because it is carved on the stone drum, it is called "Shi Guwen". Described a period of unknown history before Qin Shihuang's reunification. It is the earliest stone carving poem in China and the ancestor of seal script.
Since it was discovered in Yongxian County in the early 7th century, calligraphers Yu Shinan and Ou Yangxun at that time were all amazed at the calligraphy on the stone drum. Du Fu once wrote in a poem that "Chen Cang's stone drum has been wrong for a long time", and Wei, Han Yu and Su Shi all wrote poems on it, so it has a very close relationship with writers. In epigraphy, the stone drum is considered to be the most important relic in stone carving since Ouyang Xiu's Collection of Historical Records.
In the program, Tony Leung Ka Fai, the guardian of national treasure, plays Sima Guang in the past story about Shigu. Sima Guang's father, Sima Chining, can commit the crime of deceiving the monarch, and he did not deceive future generations with fake stone drums. His spirit is touching, but in fact the story of Shigu is much more tortuous than this.
