Xie Shaocheng, born in July 1963, is a famous military calligrapher in China. He graduated from Nanjing Art Institute in 199 and won the "Liu Haisu Scholarship" that year. He is currently a member of China Calligraphers Association, a distinguished calligrapher of Jiangsu Traditional Chinese Painting Academy, secretary general of Nanjing Military Region Calligraphy Creation Institute, a professional calligrapher of Nanjing Military Region, and a former vice chairman of Xuzhou Calligraphy Association.
