Finally, he became a prime minister by worshipping the scholar in the Hall of Jixian, and became an envoy and general officer in the Tang Dynasty. In his later years, he learned about Chen Zhou, Xuzhou, Yongxing Army and other places, and was named Linzi Gong. In the second year of He Zhi (1055), Yan Shu died in Kaifeng at the age of 65.
