Guanyin Pavilion is located on Guannan Street, Linming, Yongnian County. The predecessor of the pavilion was a beacon tower during the Warring States Period. During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the Guanyin Pavilion began to take shape. According to the "Inscription of the Reconstruction of the Stele of Guanyin Pavilion" in the 16th year of Guangxu's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1890): "I don't know when it was first built. It is said that Yuchi Jingde of the Tang Dynasty was ordered to renovate it, but the broken stele has disappeared. Perhaps it was advocated in the Yuan, Yuan and Wei Dynasties. It is unknown whether Buddha Butcher was built there. "The county annals of the Qing Dynasty recorded it as Drum Tower. The Guanyin Pavilion building has gone through many vicissitudes of life and has been repaired several times. It covers an area of ??more than a thousand square meters. It was originally 30 meters high and divided into four floors. The bottom floor was the entrance to the North-South Street thoroughfare. On the plaque was written "The First Land of Yanzhao".

It is said that it was written by Wang Qintang, a local Gongsheng during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty. The upper floor has 12 eaves that rise up to the sky to form cornices, a wooden arch structure, and a glazed tile roof. It is magnificent and magnificent, and is rare in Hebei. ancient building. According to the "Inscription on the Reconstruction of Guanyin Pavilion" written in the 22nd year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1817): "Since the Han and Tang Dynasties, Linming has been a county. The inscription reflects the bustling and colorful scene in the Buddhist pavilion on the fifteenth night of the first lunar month at that time.

There are three iron-cast Buddha statues enshrined on the ground floor of Guanyin Pavilion. According to the stele "Golden Buddha Records of Guanyin Pavilion, Linming Town, Yongnian County, Guangping Prefecture, Zhili" in the 47th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1619): "The Ming Dynasty Gao The emperor brought peace to the world, and all the people enjoyed their work. Regrettably, during the Cultural Revolution in 1966, the bronze and iron Buddha statues were smashed, and the first and second floors were demolished, leaving only the door opening on the ground floor and a sun tower. In 1986, with funds raised from local people, the Guanyin Pavilion was restored by the Hebei Institute of Ancient Architecture.

The Guanyin Pavilion currently has a construction area of ??1,200 square meters, a height of 21 meters, and has three floors. It is two rooms deep and three rooms wide. It is surrounded by corridors and topped with green glazed tiles. The horizontal inscription on the plaque facing the north is "The First Realm of Yanzhao", which was written by the contemporary calligrapher Mr. Huang Qi. The horizontal inscription "As far as the South China Sea" is written on the plaque facing south was written by Li Ying, a local calligraphy celebrity. Three turrets of the moon, bell, and drum were built at the four corners of the pavilion. Together with the original remaining sun tower, there are four turrets in total.
