Introduction of scenic spots
rainbow mirror
Features of scenic spots: rainbow-like curved bridges run through it, and the lake is crystal clear, just like a mirror; Ripples begin and waves float. The surrounding red leaves are reflected in it, which is beautiful.
Lord Qianlong gave rainbow mirror, one of the ten scenic spots in Qixia. The word "rainbow mirror" was inscribed by the famous calligrapher Wei Tianchi. Engraved on the monument is Fu Jianming's inscription on Jinghu Lake, which describes the time, reason and reconstruction process of Jinghu Dry Bridge. According to "Photography Mountain Records", "There is a flowing spring on the mountain, and there is no return. Qing Qianlong twenty-two years (that is, 1757), carved into the pool. The water flows directly into the fountain from Taohuaxi and Zhongfengxi, sparkling and crystal clear, and there are many strange stones, staggered batteries, dams, bridges and railings to cross. Building a house by the mountain, the water is a pavilion, like the scenery of Ming Sheng Lake. " In the twenty-seventh year of Qianlong (1762), Lord Qianlong was lucky again here and was named "rainbow mirror". Rainbow Bridge in the lake was destroyed by the war between Taiping Army and Qing Army in Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty. In the 1920s, qixia temple abbot Ruoshun rebuilt the Rainbow Bridge and restored its original appearance. Since then, the bridge and pavilion have been repaired many times. In the early 1980s, Mingjing Lake suddenly collapsed and bridges and pavilions disappeared. Later, it was not until 1992 that it was rebuilt and "rainbow mirror" was rediscovered. Standing in Mingjing Lake is a stone statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva, which is several meters high and smiles at all sentient beings in the world. Later, the Jiuqu stone bridge was shaped like a rainbow, a hexagonal pavilion, a danju black tile, and a cornice upturned. The word "Rainbow Pavilion" was inscribed on 199 1 by a contemporary monk, Master Mingshan. There is such a couplet on the pavilion column: "The sky is full of stars and the mirror falls, and the sages from ten places come to shine on the mountains", which was written by Jeon Gwang Ryeol in Zunyi. Today's Mingjing Lake is crystal clear, like a mirror; Rainbow bend bridge, running through it; At the beginning of the ripple, the water waves float; The lakes and mountains are reflected in the water, which is beautiful and the scenery is three points better than that on the shore. We walked along the central axis of Qixia Ancient Temple, in front of which was the Bell and Drum Tower.
