Cheng Lei, 1970, from Suizhou, Hubei. China Academy of Fine Arts, a postgraduate majoring in calligraphy, is now a member of China Calligraphers Association and vice chairman and secretary general of Guangzhou Baiyun Calligraphers Association. Calligraphy, prose, poetry and calligraphy theory articles are scattered in many newspapers and magazines at home and abroad, such as People's Daily, Star Poetry Magazine, Calligraphy Newspaper, Calligraphy Appreciation and Oriental Calligraphy. Calligraphy works have been exhibited in many professional exhibitions at home and abroad. His works are collected by Chinese and foreign friends, many museums and famous temples.

Cheng Lei (1970——) was originally named Chu Shi,No. Ding Shilou,No. Infinite Buddha Hall. Born in Suizhou City, Hubei Province, and raised in Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province.

I inherited my grandfather's ignorance from childhood and secretly read poetry books. Calligraphy was once requested by calligraphers Meng, Meng, Meng, Meng and Meng.

Calligraphy works entered the second national exhibition of new calligraphers' works and won the "Yellow Crane Literature and Art" award in Hubei. His works are collected by Chinese and foreign friends, many museums and famous temples.

In 2000, he went to Japan for artistic exchange and held solo exhibitions and joint exhibitions in Japan for many times. In 2003, he won the "Japan-China Friendship Peace Prize" in the Japan-China Book Road Exchange Exhibition hosted by the Japanese Ministry of Education, and had a special interview report in the Japanese Chinese newspaper China Times. In 2005, he entered the calligraphy postgraduate class of China Academy of Fine Arts and benefited from the teachings of many contemporary famous teachers.

Calligraphy style pursues the strength of inscriptions, loves the exquisiteness of calligraphy, and loves the relaxed and broad-minded literati atmosphere.
