It's a full 1 1 hour drive from Zibo to Wutai County, and the time in the car is the hardest. Fortunately, I downloaded some movies before I left, and I barely lasted for a few hours. I had to fall asleep on the bumpy bus for the rest of the journey. At 7 o'clock in the evening, we finally arrived at our destination and checked into the hotel where we were going to stay for three days.
The next morning, after a night's rest, I was full of energy and prepared for the day's trip. Today's trip is to worship five platforms, which are divided into five platforms: East, West, South, North and China. We went to Zhongtai, Nantai and Xitai first. We think we can walk to Wutai Mountain, but we have to take a bus. The news made my mood fall into the abyss in an instant. This trip was not as smooth as the one on the highway. There are bumpy mountain roads everywhere, shaking back and forth in the car as if to fly out. To tell the truth, I don't believe in Buddhism, but out of respect for religious culture, I still reluctantly strictly abide by various complicated rituals. Because of this, all kinds of temples can't interest me at all, but attract my attention to those strange natural scenery. Herds of cattle and horses are eating young grass leisurely on the grass, but they have never seen a herder to manage them. The cows here seem to be not afraid of humans. Facing the hundreds of people standing in front of it, it has no intention at all. It seems that it is used to the scenery in front of it.
After a short lunch, we went to Beitai. Beitai is the highest section of Wutai Mountain, with an altitude of 3058 meters, and is known as the "roof of North China". It's cold and humid here, there are no trees on it, and hard ice accumulates every year. In this hot summer, it's only about eleven or twelve degrees. Looking down from the top of the mountain, the strange scenery is like a fairyland. In the process of going to Dongtai, the dark clouds gradually came down, several electric lights flashed in the sky, and a few drops of rain fell slightly. When we saw something bad, we hurried down the mountain. Before I could stop, a sudden heavy rain caught people who were still rushing to the west station off guard. So with a little regret, we went back to the hotel.
At 4: 30 the next morning, I was awakened by a quick knock on the door. The most important task today is to drill the Buddha cave. It is said that the main purpose of many people coming to Wutai Mountain is to drill Buddha caves. It is said that the Buddha Cave is a limestone cave formed 10,000 years ago. Its shape is mysterious and bizarre, extremely magical. Chinese odyssey, so to speak. Legend has it that there are thousands of Buddhas coming in and out, which is a scenic spot where Buddhas are born. As soon as I got off the bus, I was the first to rush out. There are 1500 gentle and spacious steps from the foot of the mountain to the Buddha cave. I can't climb in the middle, so I have to climb slowly. After climbing for more than half an hour, I finally reached the top of the mountain. The Buddha cave is not open yet, but the front is already crowded with tourists like us. Seeing this situation makes me understand why I have to wait in line so early. Just waiting in line for about 4 hours, this process is really a painful torment, but it can better reflect how desirable the Buddha cave is. It is said that drilling this Buddha hole can open up wisdom and eliminate all diseases. Although I don't believe in this superstition, I am still attracted by its mystery. The team moved forward little by little, and finally let me see hope. Finally, after four hours of queuing, we entered the Buddha Cave. There is a Buddha statue in the center of the cave, followed by the entrance of the Buddha cave. With the help of people pushing and pulling, I finally managed to get in. The rocks in the cave protrude, but they are full of charm, just like being carved. It is really a treasure endowed by nature to mankind. The rush and tiredness in the morning, coupled with not eating breakfast, made me really hungry when I went down the mountain. My father saw my strangeness at a glance and offered to treat us to a bowl of authentic Daoxiao Noodles. At this time, I have no time to savor it. I wolfed down a big bowl of Daoxiao Noodles, which can only be described by one good word.
In the afternoon, I visited the temples with a long history, such as Xiantong Temple, Tayuan Temple and Bodhisattva Peak, among which Xiantong Temple was the most magnificent. He is called the Royal Monastery, in which the roof is all painted with gold paint, highlighting its distinguished position. There is also an original imperial pen of Emperor Qianlong in the yard, which is particularly precious.
The third day's trip is also our last trip. In the morning, we will go to worship Wu Ye Temple. It is said that Wu Ye, the fifth son of the Dragon King, can bless people's wealth. This stop is essential for those who pursue wealth. Then we went to the top of the big snail and met a tall man. During the break, an old man with a broken arm caught my attention. He wrote a good hand with his arm which was only half a foot long. The handwriting is magnificent, and each stroke contains profound brushwork. Seeing this, I went up and had a chat with him. When he left, he wrote me a picture as a souvenir, which made me respect him more. When I went down the mountain, I accompanied my grandmother down the mountain by cable car. Looking down from the cable car, the dense forest covers the whole screw top. What a tree-lined natural scenery!
In the afternoon, it is time for free activities. This time, our family will be separated. Dad and grandma went to buy some souvenirs and food for tomorrow, and mom went to Sanquan Temple alone. But something unexpected happened. As soon as we got off the bus, it rained cats and dogs. Fortunately, we escaped by hiding in the waiting station. The weather in Wutai Mountain is very strange. The distance between the two places is less than one kilometer. One side is raining cats and dogs, while the other side is not even wet. My father and I will soon have to carry two big bags of things, most of which are food. Anyway, there are still more than ten hours' drive tomorrow. Be prepared, of course.
The next day, we boarded the bus to go home, left the beautiful Wutai Mountain and headed for our warmest harbor. This trip to Wutai Mountain left me with beautiful memories, which will turn into a wave and enrich my memory. I hope this beautiful memory can turn into a leaf and leave my feelings in this beautiful Wutai Mountain forever.
