Painters' paintings and paintings

Author: Li Guiqiang (Meng Art World)

Matter-of-fact: don't say that calligraphy and painting are expensive, and that the painter has a hard time, do you understand?

Calligraphy and painting works do not mean that the more expensive the better. As a kind of soul "health care product", calligraphy and painting works are not as easy to grow as corn and rice. It is the fruit of painters' hardships. You need careful and even long-term taste to know the pain behind painting and calligraphy!

Why are famous paintings and calligraphy worth so much money?

I want to say, "I'll give you a scalpel and cut your own double eyelids!" " Here is a set of needles. You can give yourself acupuncture! Here are a pair of scissors, please cut your hair! Here are some brushes, paints and rice paper. Draw it yourself. ″

When can people respect the superb skills and profound knowledge acquired by others through their years of time, money and energy?

Everyone has different levels and values. Some people are willing to buy a house because it can appreciate. Some people are willing to buy jade jade, because it can appreciate; Some people are willing to buy a painting because no matter whether the painter is famous or not, the price you pay for this painting today will not exist many years later. With the growth of age, painters and calligraphers have higher and higher painting level, poorer relative health, less and less time, less and less works they can create and higher natural prices. Every line and every industry has hardships that we can't see. You only see one painting, but how much do you know about the efforts behind this painting?

Painters are not without capital. Their capital far exceeds your imagination. They take their life, energy and time as capital, persist in learning every day, and are not afraid of being boring, repeating the same things day after day.

We can do a basic equivalent transformation. You started working at the age of 20, with a monthly salary of 3,000, which is 36,000 a year. Until you are 50 years old, your income is 6.5438+0.08 million. The painter started painting at the age of 20 and painted until he was 50. His works improved a little, but some people didn't necessarily buy them. He painted 5-8 pictures a month in the first half of his life, and his paper and pigments were conservative. According to 200 yuan's calculation, it is 2400 yuan a year. Until he was 50 years old, he not only had no income, but also had to pay 72,000 yuan. If you don't choose painting, you will earn 6.5438+0.08 million yuan in 30 years.

If you choose painting and calligraphy, you will spend at least 72,000 yuan in 30 years, and you will have to bear the incomprehension of family and friends, the embarrassment of life and the indifferent eyes of the world. Only loneliness and loneliness accompany him. If it were you, would you use your life to gamble on a career with a success rate of only 5% and a bumpy, difficult and lonely road? I dare not, and I think you dare not, but they dare. Maybe their paintings will be worthless to death, or they may become famous one day. I don't know, because if you pay, you may not get a return. How many painters have painted all their lives, but they have never sold them?

Do you still think their cost is just pen and ink?

The work of painters and calligraphers is the same as that of workers, peasants and intellectuals, but the forms of expression of labor results are different from them.

The result of a painter's labor is a work.

The publication of their works has a very complicated process, and the labor they have paid is often difficult for ordinary people to understand and imagine. We said, it's only natural that you need money to paint. This is the progress of social civilization and the respect for the achievements of painters and calligraphers. For those who want to paint for free, Mr. Huang Yongyu's sentence is excellent: "Why should I give you a white painting?"

Writing and drawing is actually a kind of labor, and it is not ordinary labor, which requires a huge cost, and there is even the risk of no harvest after working for many years. There are not a few people who have written books and painted all their lives, but they have never seriously touched the doorways when they are old, and they have not achieved much and can't earn much money.

The works of painters and calligraphers are the fruits of labor. However, I don't know when someone started asking for the fruits of labor for free, and I don't feel embarrassed at all. If you don't give it to them in time, people will keep urging them, as if you owe them.

Imagine someone saying, hey, help me write a novel, help me do carpentry for a few days, give me a suit of clothes in your closet, and give me a computer on your shelf.

Do you have anything like this?

Of course, the free creation of calligraphy and painting or other literary works is also common, such as public welfare, self-esteem, friends, friends, rewards and so on. It is normal to write couplets and plaques for temples, participate in helping disabled students, provide disaster relief and charity, or write plaques and couplets for shops with little profit, such as study rooms and bookstores, and there is no charge. However, it is normal to use it for business, as a gift, for collection or investment in order to appreciate, or for government businessmen to ask for it and clearly mark the price.

Painters and painters also like money and things, not because they hate rich people and officials, but because you are far richer than them, and money is much easier than them. If you make a lot of money, they won't be jealous, so they won't be interested in making small money on their own.

Your study is bigger than their living room, but there are few books. Their study is smaller than your kitchen, and it is full of books, paper, ink and stationery. Some people pay for eating, drinking and having fun, and all the wine on the table and in the cupboard during the Chinese New Year holiday is delivered. You don't have to pay for driving, and the driver doesn't have to pay. Such as this, it is unreasonable to ask a poor scholar for something for nothing.

I think people who can draw and write are generally capable of making a living by making more money. Just because I am good at this, I gave up many opportunities to make more money. When drawing and writing are of some use to others, it should be reasonable and clear-headed to expect corresponding returns.

I hope that those who have no reason to ask painters for nothing just don't understand this reasonable existence, not lack the minimum respect for other people's labor.

Calligraphy and painting are also commodities. It's time to change the concept of getting something for nothing!
