My reading method for sixth grade composition

It is very important to have a method for reading. Everyone has their own way of reading and studying, and I am no exception.

There are many methods of reading that Chinese teachers have taught in class. For example, extensive reading, speed reading, sequential reading, rough reading, memorizing reading, thinking reading... In fact, which reading method is better and has the best learning effect, you have to explore and try it yourself.

My reading methods can be said to be diverse. Simple ones such as careful reading and skimming. Close reading means reading carefully and understanding carefully. If you read the story word for word, you will find that it turns out that there is something in the words written in some paragraphs! Skimming is generally used when time is tight. First skim the content you want to read, then read the important content again, and put aside the content you think is insignificant. By reading in this way, you will almost understand the content of the entire story. This is what the teacher calls an overall grasp. If you have time in the future, read it again and read the more important parts of the content that you originally thought were not very important until you almost fully understand them.

My reading methods are not only those mentioned above, but also include intensive reading, thorough reading, repeated reading, written reading, selective reading, skipping and other methods.

Intensive reading is similar to close reading, but intensive reading is more complicated. This method is generally used when you have plenty of time and energy (holidays). Read a good book over and over again, understand the entire story thoroughly, and strive for excellence.

Reading through refers to skimming two or more articles at the same time. Usually done when time is short. After reading through, you will be able to understand a little bit about the content of the article, and then read it slowly and carefully. In this way, the reading speed will be faster and the reading efficiency will be greatly improved.

Rereading, as the name suggests, means reading the content over and over again. If you read it over and over again, you may find it boring and boring, but Confucius said: "Reviewing the past will help you learn the new." The famous thinker and writer Forstall also said: "Rereading a good book is like meeting an old friend again." Therefore, only Only by reading it over and over again can you learn more and learn more solidly.

Excerpting good words and sentences or very important parts from the book is writing and reading. Reading like this: First, it is convenient to accumulate knowledge; second, it can review and consolidate knowledge. The ancients said: "You can't read without using pen and ink." As the saying goes, "A good memory is not as good as a bad pen." Therefore, I think writing and reading is the most useful and effective method of reading.

Everyone can do selective reading, which is similar to skimming. But this reading method is generally used when you don’t want to read for too long and don’t have the patience to read. When choosing reading, you should choose what you think is the most useful and important place to read, as long as you understand the important content. This reading method does not need to be repeated.

Skipping means that during the reading process, if you encounter something you don’t understand, you can skip it first. When you read to the end, you can compare the previous and later content to understand. In this way, you can generally understand the content that you didn't understand before.

Under the guidance of my Chinese teacher and guided by my interest in reading, I actively carried out extracurricular reading. I learned a lot of reading methods and increased my knowledge. I don’t think reading is boring. I always find the stories in every book interesting. I think every book is a treasure, not a piece of trash. In fact, as long as you read, you will also find that every book will radiate its own light, enlighten you with wisdom and give you strength.
