Zhao Hexin is a member of China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association. He first studied Deng Sanmu's lower case, Li Hongchuan and Gu Zhongan's running script. Regular script learns the classics of the Tang Dynasty, then attacks hard pen, pursues the change of brushwork, and often learns posts with neutral pen.

His hard-pen calligraphy is deeply loved by the majority of hard-pen calligraphy lovers, and his hard-pen regular script is exquisite in brushwork and perfect in structure, which is a good model for beginners to learn hard-pen regular script.

Zhao Hexin, a member of China Hard Pen Calligraphers Association, specializes in Tian Yingzhang hard pen calligraphy as well as brush calligraphy. He learned Ling Fei Jing in lowercase letters and got inspiration from it. He properly applied the classic brushwork to hard-pen calligraphy, and his calligraphy works took on a new look.
