Goose is in trouble today. Many people were driven away by geese. He is a good housekeeping.
But in the writings of the ancients, it is really elegant. Goose's attitude and expression are either modest and courteous, or well-bred and pleasing to the eye. In ancient times, geese also undertook a very happy task: bride price.
Why does Wang Xizhi have a soft spot for geese? Because the big white goose is the guiding light of his calligraphy. The shape and gait of the goose inspired Wang Xizhi's calligraphy and asked him to understand the true meaning. Li Qunyu, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, loves geese because he likes calligraphy.

"Hongyan" was an important gift in ancient weddings, but because Hongyan was not easy to be hunted, it was replaced by a white goose, and the white goose became the messenger of marriage. Songzan Ganbu in Tang Dynasty paid tribute to Emperor Taizong's goose and cast gold.
When it comes to loving geese, no one can compare with Wang Xizhi. He was once a general of the right army, and was called "Wang Youjun" because he loved to eat geese, and later he was called "the right army".
Wang Xizhi (303-36 1 year) was born in Linyi (now Linyi City, Shandong Province). Minister and calligrapher of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, son of Yin in Danyang, son-in-law of Jane, known as "Book Sage".
With the help of the shadow in the door, he became an official, serving as a doctor, a secretariat of Jiangzhou, a satrap of Huiji, and a general of the right army, known as "Wang Youjun" in history. In the ninth year of Yonghe (353), he organized the Lanting Elegant Collection. His Preface to Lanting has become "the best running script in the world". In the 11th year of Yonghe (355), he claimed to be ill, abandoned his official position and moved to Shaoxing Jinting. He died in the fifth year of Shengping (36 1) and was buried in waterfall mountain.
He is good at calligraphy, as well as official script, cursive script, regular script and other styles. He studied the style, imitated the hand and pursued it, learned from others' strengths, prepared the essence, melted into one furnace, and got rid of the style of writing in Han and Wei dynasties, which had far-reaching influence. The style is peaceful and natural, the brushwork is euphemistic and subtle, and it is beautiful.
In the history of calligraphy, he was called "Zhong Wang" with Zhong You and "Two Kings" with his son Wang Xianzhi. Li Zhimin commented: "Wang Xizhi's calligraphy not only shows simplicity and abstinence based on the philosophy of Laozi and Zhuangzi, but also shows harmony based on the Confucian doctrine of the mean."
