Kang Zhuang, Zi Mengdie,/kloc-0 was born in Jinan in July, 1945. He is a national first-class artist, a member of China Artists Association, a librarian of Shandong Provincial Government Literature and History Museum, a member of Shandong Provincial Political Consultative Conference, a vice president of Shandong Provincial Political Consultative Conference Friendship Painting and Calligraphy Institute, a director of Ming Kai Painting Academy of China Democratic Progressive Party, a dean of Shandong Ming Kai Painting Academy, an honorary dean of Jinan Painting Academy, a consultant of Jinan Artists Association, a senior painter of Shandong Painting Academy and an honorary academician of China Painting Academy of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Mr. Kang Zhuang's brushwork is very profound in traditional painting. He expresses his feelings and fun in the process of painting, rubbing and dyeing. He creates landscapes with images, shapes with emotions, and creates the layers of the picture through the shades of pen and ink and the changes of lines, which complement the mountains, rivers, Woods and houses. Steep rocks, faintly visible farmhouses and jagged trees make the work winding and isolated from the world. His landscape is magnificent, vigorous, beautiful and profound.

On the pictures such as How the Yellow River Water Moves Out of the Sky, Pastoral in Qilian, Top of Taidai, Overlooking Yantai Mountain and fairy mountain Qiongge, the wind is full of character, moving quietly, and the lines are cadenced, forming a rhythm in the crisscross. Unique layout, splash-ink color and faint crimson complement each other, and there is a kind of transmission between square inches. "Dragon Hidden" is like a rainbow, "Shazikou" is bright and clean, and the flowing water is as clear as eyes and endless. He turned the majesty of Qian Shan into the elegance of an open atmosphere, creating a wonderful realm of boredom and silence, a realm of detachment and refinement.

With a simple and sincere learning attitude, Mr. Kang spared no effort to continue the practice and exploration of China's traditional painting and calligraphy. In his long-term unremitting exploration of the harmonious unity of ink language, painting context and personal nature, he constantly enriched and improved the taste and connotation of his works, and brought the pen and ink and spirit of Chinese painting to a high level!
