There are many stone remains here, some of which we have been to, such as Lingyan Mountain in Suzhou. However, Professor Liu Dalin thinks that information is not enough. Lingyan Mountain only shows that Fu Cha, the king of Wu, loves stones. Many palaces have been built for stone repair on Lingyan Mountain, but this is just stones.
One aspect of history, in order to write this book, I had to visit the hometown of Shi, namely Zhuluo Village in Zhuji, Zhejiang. So, we went to Zhuji in late February 2005.
Today is a good day for us to go to Zhuji. In late February, it should be chilly in spring, but on this day, the spring breeze is warm, sunny, warm but not cold. Stone has lived in Zhuluo Village at the foot of Zhuluo Mountain for generations. Now this place has built a "hometown of history". We walk into the stone hometown and turn right, which is the stone temple.
Shi lived in the Spring and Autumn Period more than 2400 years ago. Her surname is Shi and her name is Yiguang. She lives in two villages, East and West, and she lives in West Village, hence the name Stone. She was born beautiful and moving. In 494 BC, the State of Yue, where Shi lived, was defeated by the State of Wu and had to make peace. Gou Jian, the King of Yue, went to Wu as a hostage for three years. Gou Jian, the King of Yue, was very calculating and tried his best to please Fu Cha, the king of Wu. Once Fu Cha was ill, Gou Jian went to see a doctor and tasted Fu Cha's excrement. Focha was very surprised and asked him what he was doing. Gou Jian said: "I can know the development of the disease by smelling things like feces;" The sweetness is not good, and the bitterness is gradually healing. Now it tastes bitter, and it is no harm to know the sacred bow of the king. " Focha was surprised and wanted to test his son and let him taste his own shit. His son is reluctant. Fu Cha sighed: "Being close to a child is better than being Gou Jian." So I trusted Gou Jian more and soon put him back in Yue.
This is tantamount to releasing the tiger to the mountain. After Gou Jian returned to China, he took revenge in anger. "Ten years of reunion, ten years of lessons" and "service and courage" are famous allusions describing Gou Jian's efforts at that time. He called ministers and discussed many "strategies to destroy Wu", such as how to recuperate, how to unite the people, how to train soldiers and so on. The doctor's style of writing put forward nine techniques to destroy Wu, one of which was to seize the weakness of "the prince of Wu was lascivious and slaughtered his heart" (The Spring and Autumn Annals of Wu Yue), bribe the prime minister of Wu, and present beautiful women to Fu Cha, the king of Wu, so that he was "confused and indulged in politics", relaxed his vigilance against Gou Jian and won Yue a chance to make a comeback.
Yue paid tribute to Fu Cha, the king of Wu, among whom Shihe was an outstanding representative. Fucha likes stones very much. In order to win the favor of beautiful women, he built a gusutai in the northern foot of Yushan Mountain and a baby palace in Lingyan Mountain, and indulged in debauchery all day, thus neglecting state affairs.
Fu Cha, the prince of Wu, was opposed by some loyal ministers represented by Wu Zixu. Wu Zixu advised Fu Cha not to let Gou Jian return to China, but Fu Cha wouldn't listen. He also advised Fu Cha not to pay tribute or indulge in womanhood, but Fu Cha said: "The tribute of two women is proof that Gou Jian is loyal to Wu." Wu Zixu got a lot of information and knew that Gou Jian was preparing for the war. He told focha, and focha didn't believe him. Finally, Wu Zixu was forced to commit suicide. When he died, he said: After I die, you hang my head on the gate of the State of Wu, and let me see how the Vietnamese army broke in to destroy Wu.
Wu Zixu's words came true. In 473 BC, Gou Jian sent troops to attack Wu, and Wu failed. Fu Cha made peace, Gou Jian refused, and finally Fu Cha committed suicide. When he committed suicide, he said to the left and right, "After I die, you cover my face with a towel. I have no face to see my father underground! " ""Father "is Wu Zixu, who respected Wu Zixu as his father.
After the death of Wu, the great heroic history returned to his motherland, but what happened after he came back? There are many different opinions: the first one is that she and Fan Li retired in the five lakes. She was lovers, but later she sacrificed her love and youth to save the country. Fan Li, a wise man, said to her after returning to China: "Gou Jian can be * * * in trouble, but not * * * in happiness. "Birds are exhausted, and good bows are hidden; A sly rabbit dies and a running dog cooks. " It would be dangerous for us to stay any longer, so we might as well run away, so they went boating in all corners of the country and didn't know where to go. It is said that later, when she made a fortune in business, she was called "Tao Zhugong" and became a "rich woman". The second way of saying it is: Shi returned to Yue on the first day, and in the evening Gou Jian told her to wait on the bed: "Fu Cha plays with you, why can't I play with you?" Stone is a tool of personality after all. Later, Gou Jian's wife thought, "This is a disaster. How can we stay for a long time?" She threw the stone into the water and drowned. The third argument is that Shi returned to his hometown of Zhuji. Song, a poet in the early Tang Dynasty, wrote in his "Huan Sha Pian": "I once went to my old capital to look for its beauty, and the birds surprised the pineapples and the fish were afraid of sinking the lotus flowers." Regrettably, this statement lacks stronger evidence.
We wandered in Shi's hometown, recalling Shi's life and ending. I asked Liu Jiaoshou, "Which of the three endings of Xi do you believe?"
He said: "I believe in the first and the second, which are more tragic and compassionate. Gou Jian is a man. According to historical records, he is very calculating and insidious. The way he flatters Fu Tea is really beyond the reach of ordinary people. Fan Li and he have been enemies for decades, so I caught him and ran away. If Wen Zi doesn't run, he will be killed by Gou Jian. It seems to be a rule that many rulers kill their heroes after their success. I don't think Gou Jian will let go of the stone easily. "
I said, "I think so too. But the first and second cases may not be the same? For example, when Shi returned to China successfully, Gou Jian played with her again. Gou Jian's queen wanted to kill Shi, forcing Shi to elope with her? "
He said, "You have imagination. Very likely. "
We walked into the hall of the stone, and the statue of the stone stood in the center, elegant in posture, without losing the true colors of a peasant woman. She looked forward with a sad face, as if looking down on her complicated, difficult and unfortunate life. I asked Liu Jiaoshou if he liked the statue. He said: "This statue is not bad, but I can't see any sadness. It may be your psychological effect. "
There is a plaque hanging above the stone statue, which reads "Lotus Goddess" in big letters, and there is a "merit box" in front of the statue, asking people to donate money. There is also a big incense burner outside the courtyard, where many people burn incense and worship stones. In the Stone Temple, there was a young couple with a five-or six-year-old child. The couple asked the child to kowtow to the stone statue, and the child knelt down and kowtowed twice. I don't know why. Making children kowtow always requires stone to bless them, but kowtowing with two heads can bring happiness to them. Isn't that too cheap? In my opinion, it is a tragic woman, a very sympathetic persecuted person. Why should she be honored as a god?
There is a winding corridor here, and the walls are covered with poems written by ancient and modern literati to Shi. Poetry is not bad, and calligraphy is not bad either, quite like Xi 'an's forest of steles. Liu Jiaoshou and I looked at it, and there was no more time to chant.
I appreciate this poem: "After two thousand years of silence, Fan Li's pursuit of beauty in the twilight, without looking for it, naturally came to fruition, all corners of the country, boundless clouds and water!" After reading this poem, it seems that there is a canoe in front of me, carrying stones, far away in the dusk. ...
Liu Jiaoshou said he liked another song better. He said that although the poem was not fluent enough, his point of view was correct. This poem is: "A lady by the Huansha River is clean, and her body is as beautiful as jade. Natural beauty, originally a lotus flower, fell into a figurine in the hook machine. Once the king is elected, violence will return to violence. Burning its Hua Dong Wu Gong, the historical tragedy is heartbreaking. "
Generally speaking, Shi's hometown is well built. This famous story in China history is shown by many statues and descriptions. There are Zhuluo village, lotus pond and stone statues in the water. Yu, a poetess in the Tang Dynasty, wrote the poem "Huansha Temple", and Li Shangyin, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, also wrote the sentence "Xi Zi seeks the lost temple, shows his power and seeks the old village". The Xi Stone Site was built in the Ming, Qing and Republic of China, but it was repeatedly destroyed in the war and the Cultural Revolution. It was renovated more than ten years ago. Two plots of land, more than 20 thousand square meters, look very good. However, it may be due to the shortage of funds (I saw that someone donated 654.38+10,000 yuan to build a monument), and some places are a bit rough.
Zhuji reflects our life, while Lingyan Mountain in Suzhou, where we have been, reflects our activities as a pornographic female spy. She used Fuxi's love to spy on information, paralyzed Fuxi's fighting spirit and alienated Fuxi's relationship with some wise ministers. From the former site of Lingyan Mountain, we can see how Fu Cha dotes on Shi and how Shi achieves her political goals. There is a pavilion doll palace on Lingyan Mountain, but it was rebuilt by later generations. There is a "flower pond" on the mountain. This is because Shi Aihua and Fucha were specially built for her. There is also a "Moon Pool", which was specially built by Fucha. What does "Moon Pool" mean? "Looking up, I found it was moonlight" always looked up at the bright moon, but Fu Cha was afraid that Shi was too tired to look up, so he deliberately dug a pond so that Shi could enjoy the moon shadow in the pond effortlessly.
* * can influence history, which is another proof.
