First, the life of the characters.
Xie Daowen (date of birth and death unknown), also known as Taoyuan, was born in Yang Xia (now Taikang County, Zhoukou City, Henan Province) and was a poetess in the Eastern Jin Dynasty.
Born in the Xie family of Chen County. His father was Xie Yi, the general of Anxi in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, his uncle was Xie An, a politician in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, and his husband Wang Ningzhi was the second son of Wang Xizhi, a calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Xie Daowen is smart, knowledgeable, witty and eloquent. Xie An once called her "elegant and profound".
Most of Xie Daowen's poems have been lost, such as "Mountaineering", "Song Poetry in the Plan" and "Snow Poetry". Xie Daowen is not only gifted in literature, but also good at calligraphy. Later generations praised women's literary talent by "praising talents". Xie Daowen was called a famous lady among women and the first talented woman in the Eastern Jin Dynasty by later generations.
Second, the impact of achievements.
1, literature achievement. The style of her works is distinctive and elegant, which breaks through the bitter, tactful and delicate style of female writers, presents a magnificent momentum and shows the same aesthetic feeling as that of male poets, thus making her female literary creation different from the tradition and other female creative styles at that time and having a far-reaching impact on later generations. ?
2. Calligraphy achievements. Calligraphy is also quite successful and praised by later generations. Calligraphers in the Tang Dynasty called Xie Daowen's calligraphy "graceful and elegant, fragrant and interesting", which was placed in the position of domestic products, tied with Sun Hao, Zhang, Xie Lingyun, and ranked far above calligraphers Lu Ji, Xie Tiao, Yu Jianwu, Xiao Gang and Xie Lingyun. There are no original works handed down from generation to generation.
Xie Daowen's creative characteristics
First, the poetic image of the Qing Dynasty Yuan
For example, the images such as "catkins in the wind" and "pine trees in the mountains" depicted in her works, and many words in her poems are typical metaphysical words, such as emptiness, loneliness, seclusion, nature and so on.
Second, generous style and momentum.
The poem "Mountaineering" is magnificent, the scenery is combined with logic, and the words and sentences are concise and appropriate, which shows the elegance of the author's pen. "Quasi-discipline in Prose Poetry" has the characteristics of conciseness, dynamic and static combination, open style and magnificent momentum.
Third, combine the scenery with the reality of Hyunri.
The description of Hyunri and Xuan Jing, combined with the concrete realistic images and the theme emotions to be expressed, is obviously different from the metaphysical poems advocated by the Eastern Jin Dynasty at that time, which embodies the rich ideological connotation of Xie Daowen's double cultivation of Li Xuan and the integration of Confucianism and Taoism.
