Laozi's philosophical thoughts. "Taoism is natural" comes from the twenty-fifth chapter of Laozi's Tao Te Ching. Laozi believes that although Tao gives birth to all things, it is aimless and unconscious. It is "born without something, not relying on something, long without killing", that is, it does not take everything for itself, does not boast of its own advantages, does not dominate and dominate everything, but lets everything develop naturally. "People abide by the law, abide by the law, abide by the law, and be natural." The "nature" here is natural nature, that is, "invisible" nature.
From here, we can see that Laozi's legal consciousness is natural law. Of course, the concept of legal system has not yet formed. However, when governing the country, he advocated governing the world with natural law.
