1895 was born on March 20th in Changchun Street (now Jiefang Road), Wancheng District, Nanyang City, Henan Province. As a teenager, he read the Four Books, Five Classics and Hundred Schools of Thought. When he was a child, Dong Zuobin often went to the carving shop next to him after school, carefully observed various carving techniques, and pondered the composition and essentials of carving. Later, he got enthusiastic guidance from his master, which made him interested in ancient Chinese characters and seal cutting. In his second year in Xuan Tong (19 10), he went to Yuan Zong High School and dropped out. 1965438+In the spring of 2005, under the strong recommendation of the famous educator Mr. Zhang Jiamou, Dong Zuobin was admitted to the county-run normal school. After graduation, I stayed in school to teach with excellent results.

After being recommended by Mr. Zhang Jiamou, he was admitted to Kaifeng Yucai Museum to study and got in touch with Oracle Bone Inscriptions. From then on, he became attached to Oracle Bone Inscriptions and became interested in China archaeology. 1922, at the invitation of Mr. Zhang Jiamou, he came to Beijing to study alone and lived in Mr. Zhang's home. Mr. Zhang knew that he had studied seal cutting and his handwriting was good, so he asked someone to introduce him to a job of copying handouts. In the meantime, Dong Zuobin met Xu (a native of tanghe county), then a professor of Peking University. Xu teacher found him clever, honest and hard-working, so he introduced him to Peking University to study linguistics and copied and studied Luo Zhenyu's Preface to Yin Ruins in his spare time. He suggested to Fu Sinian that Academia Sinica should carry out systematic excavation. He also participated in the excavation of Chengziya in Shandong Province and discovered Longshan culture. He has taught in Zhongzhou University and Sun Yat-sen University. In March, he published "A Case Study of Oracle Bone Inscriptions Times", and determined the staging standard of 10 Oracle Bone Inscriptions Yin Dynasty characters. From 1928 to 1937, when War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression broke out, Dong Zuobin participated in the systematic excavation of Yin Ruins many times and made great efforts. He also began to study Oracle Bone Inscriptions comprehensively and systematically, and published a series of important papers and monographs. He first put forward the 10 Oracle Bone Inscriptions dating standard, presided over the research on major topics such as the genealogy of Emperor Yin, the name of Yin, the burial place of unearthed objects, foreign place names, the words described in inscriptions, the grammatical structure of inscriptions, the ideographic norms of inscriptions, and the writing forms of inscriptions, and made remarkable achievements. He was one of the most famous archaeologists in China at that time and also a master of Oracle Bone Inscriptions. He edited and published A Collection of Yin Ruins. During War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's period, he traveled to Changsha, Guilin, Kunming, Nanxi and other places with the Institute of Historical Languages, presided over the work of the Institute and continued to study the calendar method of the Yin Dynasty. 193 1 year later, he compiled and published Li Yin seen in Oracle Bone Inscriptions. 1945, Li Yinpu was compiled and published, which was praised as an immortal work.
