Qiu, whose real name is Qiu Shi, is a famous writer and a native of Qinba Mountain area. He is a master of ci collection and a Buddhist. Born in Ziyang County, Shaanxi Province, 1956, he is currently the president of Hainan Branch of World Artists Federation, the executive director of China Guoli Artists Association, the artistic consultant of China Guoli Magazine, the executive director of Sanya Calligraphy and Painting Society, and the vice president of Hainan Modern Service Federation.
