There are three alpine meadows in Mingshan, all above 1,000 meters above sea level. The Thousand-acre Meadow that everyone sees now is the most famous. After Zhu Yuanzhang became emperor, he gave Huizhao a gift. The stone tablet of "Hugh with the Country" in the temple is still there.
