Ou Yangxun was a famous calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty who washed his pen on the mat in the north of Changsha.

Ou Yangxun (557-64 1) was born in Linxiang County, Tanzhou (now Changsha City, Hunan Province). Tang dynasty minister and calligrapher. Son of Ouyang Yao.

Yang Di acceded to the throne, and Ou Yangxun was the doctor too often. In the third year of Wude (620), he took refuge in Dou Jiande, the king of Xia, and was named Taichangqing. In the fifth year of Wude (622), he surrendered to Tang Gaozu Li Yuan and became a teacher. He moved to Guanglu, Yin Qing, where he became a doctor, and gave a post to Zhong Shi. He led a prince to do a bachelor's degree in Hong Wen Pavilion, conferred the title of Duke of Bohai, and presided over the compilation of the Collection of Arts and Articles. Zhenguan fifteen years, at the age of eighty-five.

Ou Yangxun's official career

In the first year of Yang Di Daye (605), Ou Yangxun was appointed as Doctor Taichang.

In the second year of Tang Gaozu Wude (6 19), Yu Wenhuaji claimed to be the son of heaven, and Ou Yangxun was also captured by him as a courtier.

In the third year of Tang Gaozu Wude (620), Dou Jiande captured Liaocheng, and Ou Yangxun was retained by Xia Guo, and was appointed as Taichangqing.

In the fifth year of Wude in Tang Gaozu (622), Li Shimin, King of Qin defeated Yuhu Prison in Dou Jiande and pacified Hebei. Ou Yangxun once again narrowly escaped death. Later, he was awarded the post of assistant middle school because of his close friendship with Li Yuan, the great ancestor of the Sui Dynasty. At that time, he was 65 years old.

During the prosperous Tang Dynasty, he moved to Guanglu, Yin Qing, where doctors, ministers, princes and bachelors were in Hong Wen Pavilion and in Bohai County, so he was also called "Ouyang Lingduo".

During the Zhenguan period (626 -649), Ou Yangxun died at the age of 80.
