Tian Kai and I have no serious problems. I have also watched Tian's "One Word a Day" program, and I feel that I have learned some knowledge. But Tian Kai does have some problems, and even Tian's two teachers dare not say that it is perfect.
I'm just writing my own thoughts here.
I am very interested in calligraphy, art and music. I learned a little when I was a child, but I didn't develop into a professional. When I was in primary school, I had to hand in my calligraphy homework (three articles a week) and received some suggestions from my uncle (thanks to my uncle); There is a calligraphy class in junior high school, and our grade has just been selected to participate in a course project, which requires that the art calligraphy class be better and the homework be more refined. My calligraphy teacher only studied European style, and later I learned that he studied under Lu Zhongnan. In fact, I have no feeling about European style in junior high school calligraphy class. It took several years to think that the tablet written by Jiuchenggong was beautiful.
Watching online tutorials to learn European sports seems to bypass Tian's two teachers, and there are not many systematic courses. Tian teacher's daily vocabulary is particularly good, and there is an earlier teacher's guidance. I think these two programs should be compared to gain more (of course, Mr. Meng also has Mr. Meng's problems).
Tell me about the shortcomings I saw in Tian Kai.
First, draw a stroke, there will be a mouse tail, that is, throw it out. As teacher Meng said, when writing strokes, the strokes should be written in place, even if they point to the back, the pen should be put straight and not thrown; Writing vertically, some people call it "flat-headed bee waist", and I also think the waist is really too thin; The most criticized is "kneeling on the pen to fight the front." The European vertical hook is too special. Now many people are stuck on this hook and can't write well. So they tried to write this European-style vertical hook in various ways, but I really felt bad about kneeling on the pen, just like drawing words. My calligraphy teacher said that you can't write well, but you can't draw, you can't draw. Anyway, there are many analysis posts on this point on the Internet. Let's go and see for ourselves.
Second, in terms of glyphs, is Tian Jie beautiful? Good-looking. But it is this uniform beauty that people criticize. It's hard to say that regular script should be neat, but it can't be the same. Even Mr. Tian himself said that there should be some changes when the same word appears in the same work. Most of his methods are to replace or change regular script with variant characters, but it seems difficult for Tian Jie to write different variations of the same word (strangely, even if we write the same word, most people can't be exactly the same).
The most terrible thing is that people who learn from Tian Kai write the same words, and you can't tell who is who without signing. For example, in film and television dramas, sons and fathers look exactly alike. We just think this is a routine, but it is very strange that this happens in reality.
Thirdly, Tian Jie has a strange phenomenon in learning calligraphy, that is, "double standards". When you sell yourself, you say that you have Ou Yangxun with you. When people compare them with Ou Yangxun, you can say that you are different from Ou Yangxun and each has its own characteristics. You can't find anything wrong with this, but this is where sophistry and double standards make people unhappy.
Let's talk about the advantages first.
Popularize regular script calligraphy.
Nowadays, few people write regular script seriously, especially "calligraphers". Tian teacher speaks well because they can't write regular script well. Some people keep their mouths shut about "cursive script" and "crazy book" and ask them to write regular script. They say they can't show their level, but I don't think they can. The cursive script of the running script is changeable and there are relatively few rules, so many people can't see any minor faults. Regular script is different, relatively standardized, and it is easy to be seen if it is not well written.
It can be said that Tian's two teachers have satisfied people's understanding with regular script, but now "calligraphers" can make headlines by writing any ugly and strange books.
Generally speaking, the field opening written at the back has obvious advantages of concentration (that is, small amount and great effect), but also has the disadvantages of trivial and unfocused. The characteristics of strokes should be regarded as personal style, but I still insist on teaching students not to be exactly the same. The teacher's role is not only to impart knowledge, but more importantly, to teach students in accordance with their aptitude, so that each student can give full play to his strengths and have his own characteristics, and truly achieve shine on you rather than Blue. It is the teacher's happiness to see that students are better than themselves.
