After the founding of New China, Tianjin has made great achievements in culture and art, press and publication, radio, film and television, books and archives. Winning the "Five Ones" Project Award in Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China for many years in a row has also made the whole country realize the brilliant achievements of Tianjin's cultural construction in recent years. A number of Tianjin traditional folk cultural projects, such as clay figurine Zhang, kite fair and Yangliuqing New Year pictures, have made great progress compared with the past. The Mazu Cultural Tourism Festival, which just ended not long ago, gathered the eyes of Chinese people all over the world who were influenced by Mazu culture in Tianjin.
As an earlier historical and cultural city in China, the Haihe Cultural Belt is being built to show the historical details of Tianjin culture to the world.
