Kangxi's seven-character quatrains

At the beginning of the spring rain, the wicker opens and the fishing boat sings late.

As we all know in An Lan today, temples pay attention to Huanghuai.

The rain in early spring helped the hanging willow branches,

In the evening, the people on the fishing boat sang songs and had a good time. During the pilgrimage, I often pay attention to the affairs of the Yellow River and Huaihe River. Today, I can tell the world that Huanghuai has finally calmed down and is no longer flooded.

Kangxi made six southern tours in his life, and this song "Manyong of Newly Opened Riverside Dwellings in Yangjiazhuang" was written in Qingkou (now Matou Town, Huaiyin District, Huai 'an City) during his fifth southern tour (in the forty-fourth year of Kangxi, AD 1705). This poem tells us that Kangxi entered the North Canal by boat from Beijing and then reached Qingkou through the newly opened river. He had a pleasant journey and enjoyed the scenery on both sides of the strait.

Kangxi inspected the river workers in Laikou, and saw that the Yellow River, Huaihe River and Canal parted ways and went their separate ways, which changed the situation that the Yellow River was difficult to navigate in the past. He said to the river workers, "Look at this trip, our river workers can do a lot." I am very happy. "Then I wrote two songs," Riverside Scenery of Xinkaihe Dwellings in Yangjiazhuang ". Read "Spring rain begins with wicker, fishing boats sing late. "Concerned about the story of Huanghuai in the temple, I feel that Kangxi is lyrical with scenery, lyrical with songs, and expressive with things. The carefree mood of Huanghuai affairs that the temple pays attention to is vividly on the paper.
