"Song of the Eight Immortals in Drinking" was written by Du Fu when he first arrived in Chang'an in 746 (the fifth year of Tianbao). The "Eight Immortals of Drinking" refers to the eight celebrities who were good at drinking wine in the Tang Dynasty: Li Bai, He Zhizhang, Li Shizhi, Li Jing, Cui Zongzhi, Su Jin, Zhang Xu, and Jiao Sui. Although they all stayed in Chang'an, they were not all in Chang'an at the same time. Du Fu connected them from the perspective of "drinking", which was all retrospective. This poem is also an innovative style in terms of style. Every sentence rhymes with one rhyme to the end. There is no need to start before and end after. It is divided into eight people in parallel. The number of sentences is uneven, but the beginning, end, and middle waist each use two words. There are three or four sentences before and after, but there is still order in the changes.
