Annotation Translation of Wang Wei's Wu Daozi Map

This poem expresses the impression and evaluation of Wang and Wu's painting art.

The first four sentences of the poem are scattered in syntax, pointing out the title of the poem and explaining where Wang and Wu painted, so that people know that there are Wu paintings in Pumen and Kaiyuan Temple, while Wang Wei painted in Kaiyuan Temple Tower. The following two sentences, "My opinion", are followed by a brief evaluation of their achievements, affirming their lofty position in the painting world. The following is a description of their paintings and their respective artistic realms.

Write Wu Daozi's paintings in ten sentences under "Tao Zi is really heroic". The word "Xiongfang" summarizes the artistic style characteristics of Wu's paintings. The sentence "vast sea of smoke" vividly describes the majestic momentum with natural phenomena. The phrase "swinging" is the artistic spirit of Wu Daozi's brushwork that the poet feels from the portrait. This experience of Wu Daozi's creative process also expresses the poet's own artistic thoughts. Later, the poet once said in his "Literature and Paintable Bamboo in the Valley": "Therefore, painting bamboo must precede the chest, and those who want to paint it must follow, and they should not chase what they see, such as rabbits falling, which are few and fleeting." If you can think before the pen, you can "start work quickly and swallow the pen before it reaches the air". This is the samadhi of the artist's creation reaching the magical realm. Only when you own it can you understand the intelligence of others to achieve this achievement. The following six sentences about Wu's paintings, Pavilion Forest, outline the contents of the paintings very accurately and vividly show the complex modality of the audience during Sakyamuni's dying statement. They either shed tears or ask for introspection, while those who "compete with each other" look anxious and vividly remember them.

Write Wang Wei's paintings in the following ten sentences: "Poetry and old calligraphy". "Rubbing" was put forward from Wang Wei's identity, which contains the spiritual characteristics of Wang Wei's painting. The so-called "poem in painting". The sentence "Pei Zhi" is a high praise for Wang Wei's character and art, that is, Wang Wei's character and poetry and painting art are beautiful. The sentence "present view" takes care of the previous sentence "old poetry" and quotes Wang Wei's famous poetry achievements to describe his painting style. "Clear and elegant" means that his paintings are as beautiful and meaningful as the images in his poems. Write the contents of Wang Wei's paintings in the following six sentences. The modality of the characters in the first two sentences in the painting is not as strong as that in Wu Daozi's painting, but meaningful. The scenery in the last four sentences is nothing in Wu's paintings, just like a bamboo painting, which reproduces the divine posture of bamboo leaves swaying in the breeze. Ji Yun said that the sentence in Jiao Ke is "seven words and wonderful lines are vague", and Wang Wen said that these four sentences are "the method of painting by many people", which contains the artistic method of the poet painting bamboo. The pictures of these six sentences all have the artistic atmosphere of "sober-mindedness".

At the end of the poem, the six sentences of "five tones" made a general comment on Wang and Wu's painting impressions, and restrained their artistic attainments in respect. The evaluation of Wu Daozi's paintings is "Miao", which is the audience's evaluation of the vivid images in Wu's paintings. "Miao" is only a symbol, just the superb skills of the painter. The poet thinks that Wang Wei's paintings are "super-like", such as the birds coming out of the cage, detached from the appearance, and the spirit is natural and distant, so he admires them in his heart and feels that everything is lacking. Here also embodies another aspect of the poet's aesthetic ideal. He said in the book "Folding Branches in the Master Book of King Yanling": "On the similarity of paintings, see the neighbors of children; Poetry must be this poem, it must be a poet. " He also said, "Thin bamboo is like a secluded person, and secluded flowers are like virgins." It is believed that painting can't just seek the shape, just as poetry can't stay on the surface of what is given, but should inspire people spiritually and feel something. Bamboo and flowers are qualitatively different from lovers, virgins and things, but feeling the charm of lovers from bamboo and seeing the posture of virgins from flowers all absorb the spirit beyond images, which means endless. This aesthetic idea of pursuing artistic conception beyond sight and image has long dominated the creation of China's literati paintings, forming the unique style of China's painting art.

This essay is mainly composed of seven words. Seven-character ancient poetry is the victory of poets in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, and Li Bai and Du Fu are the two peaks in this poetic style. Seven ancient styles and five ancient styles are rarely restrained in creation, while seven ancient styles are more suitable for indulgence, which can change in structure and momentum rhythm and reach a wonderful state. After Li and Du, only Han Yu had many excellent works in the middle Tang Dynasty, and then there were few. Su Shi's seven-character ancient poems are excellent, and his achievements are high enough to compare with those of Li, Du and Han. This Wu Daozi by Wang Wei is his early and energetic work. The composition of this poem deserves attention. The content of the whole poem is giving full play to the theme of the poem, clear and dense. The first four sentences of the poem always mention Wang Wei and Wu Daozi, which is the program of the whole poem. The sentence "My opinion" made a general comment before writing the paintings of Wang and Wu respectively. There are two layers, namely "Tao Zi is a real hero" and "Don't be old", which are divided into two pictures, Wang He and Wu, and are the belly of the whole poem. The last six sentences end with comments. The first four sentences comment on Wu and Wang separately, while the last two sentences are slightly higher and lower, reaffirming the spirit of general comments. The regularity of He Shen's two poems is uneven. Although Wang and Wu are always mentioned together, they are extremely flexible and scattered. The composition of the whole poem is as the poem says: "There are countless leaves that can be traced back to their original."

The rhyme of the whole poem is very rhythmic. The first four sentences are very idle, seemingly homely and extremely calm. At the end of the six sentences, because of the comments, the tone at the turning point is rich, but when the tone falls, the lingering sound is melodious. In the middle, I wrote a story about Wu Daozi, with a strange image, such as surging peaks and waves, which made people completely different. And writing about the first floor of Wang Wei, the scene is clear and sparse, like water and clouds, making people look far away. As the center of poetry, these two layers are very different in image and artistic conception. The whole article consists of four sections, with ups and downs, such as human voices promoting festivals and phase changes. Generally speaking, the proper use of five words in seven-character sentences forms a harmonious melody as a whole, and the momentum is still vigorous. This is a must in seven words, and it is not easy to do. Aisingiorro Hongli's poem "Wine in Tang and Song Dynasties": a poem praising the combination of history and sports, with strange opening and closing and sparse syllables. Daozi concentrated on writing and spared no effort to copy in the article. Saying that martial arts are not as good as kings is the description of Daozi before, and it is the guiding method. Wang Wei, later known as Wang Wei, is only picturesque, so the author of his paintings is very weak. Gu Yaomiao, beyond pen and ink, can be understood with words, not to mention drawing a picture, which is simply called "wonderful product" and "strange product".

Xu E's poems about Yanzhou: Lao Du wrote "Introduction to General Cao Danqing" with the cloud "Flowing horses forever", while Dongpo Guan Wu Daozi painted a wall with the cloud "Pen swallowed in mid-air". I have never seen his paintings. Comment, the sentences of two people can be used as it.

Wang Shihan's Notes on Selected Poems of Su Shi: Poems are written in the style of historical biography, with strange opening and closing and sparse syllables.

Fang Shudong's "Zhao Wei Zhan Yan": wonderful and strange brushwork; God became angry and clear. In desperation, I am very depressed, very depressed. The so-called words such as "the sea has turned over", "swallowed up", "the source can be found one by one" and "the grateful cage fan" can all describe this poem.
