Brief introduction of Xie Juezai, Xie Juezai's former residence

Comrade Xie Juezai, known as one of the "Five Old Men in Yan 'an", is a proletarian revolutionist and politician of the older generation in China, an outstanding social activist and one of the founders of the people's judicial system in China. Xie Juezai, formerly known as Xie Juezhai, whose name is Huannan, and whose scientific name is Wei Jian, was born in Ningxiang County, Hunan Province,1May 1984. 1905 was admitted as a scholar in the middle and late Qing Dynasty. 19 19 joined the may 4th movement, 192 1 joined the Xinmin society, 1925 joined the China * * production party. During the period after the first Great Revolution and its failure, he mainly engaged in the propaganda and education of the Party in the Soviet areas of Hubei, Shanghai, Hunan and Hubei, and successively served as the editor-in-chief of Dajiang Daily, Hongqi Daily and Workers and Peasants Daily. 1April, 933, worked in the Central Soviet Area, served as Secretary-General and Minister of the Interior of the Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Union, presided over and participated in the drafting of the earliest Labor Law, Land Law, Marriage Ordinance and other laws and regulations in China's red revolutionary regime. 1934 10 participated in the Long March.

After the Red Army arrived in northern Shaanxi, he served as Minister of the Interior and Secretary-General of the Northwest Office of the Central Committee, and later as Minister of Justice and President of the High Court in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region. Xie Juezai did not seek personal gain, fame and fortune all his life, was honest, hard-working and simple, and sought truth from facts. He is willing to be a public servant for decades.

He often says to his children, "I am the producer of * * *, and you are the children of the producer of * * * *. You are not allowed to have privileged thoughts. " He stipulated that his children should not use his car at will. During his work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he not only personally participated in the formulation of various disaster relief and pension policies, but also traveled all over the disaster areas to visit the poor and ask questions and solve practical problems in the spirit of "sharing worries for the central authorities and relieving worries for the masses". As the president of the Supreme People's Court, he not only personally handled the case and made a typical demonstration, but also went deep into courts all over the country to personally check the case files, boldly corrected the unjust, false and wrong cases, and better protected the legitimate rights and interests of the people.

"Dedicate yourself to the Party and be more diligent in making profits for the people" is a poem dedicated to Xie Juezai's birthday in Yan 'an period, and it is also the truest portrayal of Xie Juezai's revolutionary life.
