They are lush and full of life, decorating the beautiful seasons of spring and autumn. No one knew about the hermits in the mountains and forests, and after hearing about the fragrance, they felt admiration for them. Grass and trees, you are so virtuous, why do you need beautiful people to climb your branches?
Appreciation Zhang Jiuling once served as prime minister in the Xuanzong Dynasty and had a clean political voice. Later, he was squeezed out by Li Linfu and dismissed from his post as prime minister. The twelve poems "Gan Yu" were written by the poet in the 25th year of Kaiyuan (737) when he was the governor of Jing. This group of poems uses the metaphorical technique to express feelings, with profound emotions, and a gentle and elegant style. This poem is the first of "Feelings". The poet uses the elegant and fragrant Langui to compare his extraordinary and noble character, and emphasizes that just like Langui has his own ambition and does not seek beauty, the poet cultivates his own virtue. The inherent qualities of a wise man and a gentleman are not for the sake of others' appreciation. The tone of this poem is gentle and gentle, but it has great inner strength. It is soft yet strong, showing the poet's spirit of adhering to his ideals.

Appreciation Qu Yuan wrote a poem "Ode to the Orange", praising the orange tree's spirit of "being independent, horizontal and not flowing", and using the orange tree's steadfastness and integrity as a metaphor for itself. This poem by Zhang Jiuling is also a hymn to Danjue. The poet praises Danjue, like pines and cypresses, for having the integrity to stand proud of the frost and fight against the snow, to compare it to the virtues of a gentleman. He also used the poetic meaning of "committed to a jade plate, hoping to see food for years" in "Ancient Poetry: Tangerine and Pomelo Hanging Flowers" to express his deep feeling that although he has talents and high integrity, he cannot be used by the world. The last two sentences use the metaphor that the world values ??mundane peaches and plums but abandons the sweet and green leaves of tangerines, further expressing sympathy for one's own unfair fate.
