Brief Analysis: In the first year of Baoying in Tang Daizong (762), Tang Jun recovered a large area of land in the north and south of the Yangtze River, and the Anshi Rebellion subsided. But there was a mutiny in Chengdu at this time, and Du Fu stayed in Zizhou (now Santai County, Sichuan Province) to avoid the mutiny. When he heard that the Anshi Rebellion was put down, he was ecstatic and wrote this poem with great excitement. This poem naturally sums up the feelings of all people who are separated from each other, making it a masterpiece through the ages. Predecessors commented that this poem is Du Fu's "the first quick poem in life".
