This poem is an early work of Du Fu, which was written about 24 years after the early year of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (736). At this time, the poet was "dissolute between Zhao and Qi, and Qiu Ma was quite clear and crazy". When he traveled to Shandong, he was attracted by the magnificent scenery of Mount Tai and wrote this poem "Looking at Yue".
