Xu Xiake's travel notes are the earliest travel notes that record the geographical environment in detail in China, and the earliest books in the world that record the karst landforms in detail and study their causes. Xu Xiake never stopped traveling except for important events at home, and recorded in detail what he saw and heard on the way, which is a rare research material for geographers and archaeologists.
