Wang Shizhen (1634-1711) was a poet in Qing dynasty. The word Shang Yi, Zi Zhen, Ruanting and Yu Yangshan. Shandong Xincheng (now Huantai, Shandong) people. Often call themselves Jinan people. Wang Shizhen's poetic theory is based on "verve", which requires quiet and elegant style, full of interest, verve and implication. Wang Shizhen's five-character poems and seven-character poems best represent his style. He does not pay attention to the reflection of literature on reality. His poems mostly describe landscapes, express personal feelings and tend to pursue artistic skills and artistic conception, which is the concrete embodiment of his creative theory.
