Treatment of Platycodon grandiflorum Shen Yuan Decoction

Luo Dalun: Platycodon grandiflorum Shen Yuan Decoction for allergic rhinitis.

There are too many patients with allergic rhinitis. Sometimes when I give a lecture, I ask how many people below have this disease and raise my hand. I suddenly raised my hand. I often travel and stay in hotels, and I often encounter such scenes. I just woke up this morning and heard sneezing in the next room. I couldn't help sneezing and hit dozens of times in succession.

This is a typical symptom of allergic rhinitis.

Allergic rhinitis, also known as allergic rhinitis in western medicine, is characterized by paroxysmal sneezing, runny nose, stuffy nose and itchy nose. Some are accompanied by hypoesthesia. Let me introduce the symptoms first:

1. sneeze

Several times a day, more than three times at a time, mostly in the morning or evening or immediately after contact with allergens.

Clean your nose

As I remember, it was clearing your nose. My friends often ask me if my yellow nose counts. No, it's another problem, which means heat. Allergic rhinitis is a clear nose, a large number of clear water-like noses, and sometimes unconsciously dripping from the nostrils.

3. Nasal congestion

Allergic rhinitis may have intermittent or persistent, unilateral or bilateral nasal congestion, and the severity varies. You will feel dizzy and your memory will decline because of a stuffy nose.

4. itchy nose

When encountering allergens, most patients have itchy noses, and pollinosis patients may be accompanied by itchy eyes, itchy ears and itchy throat.

Western medicine believes that allergic rhinitis is a non-infectious inflammatory disease of nasal mucosa, which is mainly released by IgE-mediated mediators (mainly histamine) after allergic individuals are exposed to allergens, involving a variety of immunocompetent cells and cytokines. Allergic rhinitis is a global health problem, which can lead to many diseases and labor loss.

In the treatment, western medicine mainly uses antihistamines and hormones, but the effect is average. It works temporarily when used, and then the effect passes quickly, and then it is sprayed. There is no need to argue about this. Unfortunately, western medicine has not found a good treatment.

So, how does Chinese medicine know this disease?

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that this disease often comes from the lack of healthy qi in patients.

Traditional Chinese medicine has many ideas of conditioning, and all doctors have their own experiences. What I have been recommending to you is Huang Yuanyu's platycodon grandiflorum ginseng soup.

A friend found me when I was in Singapore in June this year. He is an engineer. The young man is 1.8 meters tall. He was born in a famous English school and has a bright future. However, there is a problem that bothers him very much, that is, allergic rhinitis, always sneezing, which is more uncomfortable.

At that time, after four consultations, I thought that he really belonged to the type of deficiency-cold of spleen and stomach and qi disorder, so I opened ginseng soup.

Then, I forgot about it.

The day before yesterday, his mother happened to have something to send me a WeChat message, especially telling me: Dr. Luo, my son's rhinitis has basically recovered! After taking more than a dozen auxiliary drugs, I'm basically fine.

Of course, I am glad to hear that.

It was that time in Singapore that I introduced this recipe to my friends. As a result, I later received WeChat, which was written by a lady: "My Korean girlfriend drank your prescription to treat rhinitis. She has Chinese level 7 and can type. "

Then there are screenshots of their mobile phone chat. The Korean girl wrote: "Have you given up drinking for three days today?" Well, I didn't buy Pinellia ternata. Then buy Pinellia ternata and drink it correctly next time. But it really works. I usually have no reaction to Chinese medicine, which is amazing. In fact, there are no special materials to prevent colds. Why? It's amazing. Ha ha ha! "

A friend once questioned my introduction of this prescription and said, are they all effective? What's the effect?

Indeed, this is what I think should be explained. There is a saying in Chinese medicine that specific diseases have specific prescriptions. In fact, the so-called "specific disease" is a disease with a certain syndrome type, or a certain syndrome type of a disease. This is a "specific disease". At this time, if you find the right targeted prescription, you can get immediate results. This is a "specific medicine".

In fact, this is also a certain degree of syndrome differentiation and treatment, but this kind of syndrome is more prominent.

It is said that this allergic rhinitis (actually called by western medicine) is characterized by runny nose, sneezing, stuffy nose and so on. It should be a cold syndrome, a syndrome of insufficient vital qi, cold pathogen invading the exterior and ignorance. At this time, it is completely reasonable to use a special prescription for strengthening the body resistance and dispelling cold.

This prescription, if the patient is really allergic rhinitis and his nose is smooth, I have introduced it to many friends in recent years. In my impression, it is completely ineffective, and there should be few cases.

This kind of platycodon grandiflorum ginseng soup came from Huang Yuanyu in Qing Dynasty. Friends who have read my book know that this Huang Yuanyu is a doctor with a unique theory. He was the physician of Qianlong and founded a more harmonious theory. He believes that human diseases are basically caused by spleen and stomach injuries.

I think Huang Yuanyu's idea is reasonable. The so-called spleen and stomach injury will lead to the lack of vital qi, and the lack of vital qi will lead to the invasion of foreign pathogens. As Neijing said: When evil is combined, its qi will be deficient.

However, Huang Yuanyu thinks that spleen and stomach injury will lead to the loss of temper and stomach qi, which will lead to the overall imbalance of gas movement in the body.

Therefore, Huang Yuanyu's main method of regulating physical diseases is to restore the ascending and descending of Qi and regulate the qi of the spleen and stomach.

For rhinitis, nasal mucus is clear, which is what we call allergic rhinitis today. The prescription he used was platycodon grandiflorum Shen Yuan soup.

Prescription: 9 grams of Poria cocos, 6 grams of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch, 9 grams of Rhizoma Pinelliae Preparata, 9 grams of Radix Platycodi, 9 grams of Radix Scrophulariae, 9 grams of almond, 9 grams of dried tangerine peel and 9 grams of ginger.

Treatment: lung qi stagnation, nasal congestion and runny nose.

Usage: Fry into two cups and take it while it is hot in the morning and evening. One pair a day, usually five pairs.

In this prescription, Poria cocos can remove dampness, which can make the spleen-qi rise to the left, Pinellia ternata can reduce phlegm and qi, and the lung-stomach qi can be reduced to the right. Platycodon grandiflorum can open lung-qi and help qi to the left. Scrophularia is now called Scrophularia, which can clear throat and help throat, almond can reduce lung and relieve cough, and orange peel can help the lung-stomach qi fall to the right, scraping off the white tissue inside, which has the effect of dispersing lung and eliminating phlegm. Ginger lowers the inverse and dispels the cold, licorice is in the middle, sitting in Zhongzhou, and harmonizing various medicines.

This recipe is very simple, except Pinellia ternata, the rest should be said to be very peaceful medicine, even food. That Korean girl didn't use Pinellia ternata, but the effect is very remarkable. Friends can refer to it. If she hasn't eaten Chinese medicine, even if Pinellia ternata is removed from the prescription, the problem is not big. Moreover, the processing of Pinellia ternata has been very peaceful, so it is a very safe prescription.

Note: pregnant women should not take it, and all pregnant women should use it under the guidance of a doctor, and they are not allowed to use it without authorization.

When the nose is yellow, you can't use strength. Huang Yuanyu has other ways to regulate it.

After this prescription takes effect, if possible, you can take Jinkui Shenqi Pill for a week or two to consolidate the curative effect.

Recently, the publishing house edited the prescriptions in my book and published them together for easy retrieval. This book is called "A Life-saving Prescription", but it is not a life-saving prescription, but a general health care prescription. But if it can help everyone and relieve the pain, it may be regarded as "saving lives" to some extent.

However, Chinese medicine is extensive and profound, and what I write is really just a drop in the ocean. From ancient times to the present, some people have counted about 500,000 prescriptions. There are all kinds of completely compatible prescriptions, and there are also simple and easy single prescriptions. This time, Ms Tu of Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine found clues from Ge Hong's prescription, developed artemisinin and won the Nobel Prize. In her acceptance speech, she said that this is a gift from ancient Chinese medicine to the world.

In fact, more than 500 thousand prescriptions contain countless wisdom, which will be of inestimable value to human health. Our descendants should work hard!
