Beautiful shape, god shines on the pool. Test the quiet and bright, test the heart.

Six dust troubles and five plays. This is the beam of the boat, so I realized that I was going to drown.

The sedan chair is ugly, leaving a picture of nectar. The golden light will never be seen, but the jade will remain.

Give me a faint, and the effect will be smooth.

Ode to the Buddha's Shadow was written in the 16th and 17th years of Yuanjia (439-440), when Bao Zhao served as assistant minister in Jiangzhou secretariat and Linchuan king Liu Yiqing shogunate. Liu Yiqing is a devout Buddhist. The Book of Songs says that he "takes care of Samoans at night, which is quite expensive." Jiangzhou is close to Lushan Mountain. Bao Zhao once visited Lushan Mountain with Liu Yiqing, leaving several poems behind. In the Jin Dynasty, there was a monk named Hui Yuan who painted Buddha's shadow in Lushan Mountain. This ode to the Buddha's Shadow was written after seeing the Buddha's Shadow. Some experts believe that this passage was written on behalf of Liu Yiqing.

The first two sentences of ode describe the elegance of Buddha's shadow map from two aspects: form and spirit. The paintings in the Six Dynasties advocated the combination of form and spirit, and vivid with form. Bao Zhao praised the Buddha's shadow map from this angle, saying that its image is colorful and very strange, its god is peaceful and quiet, and the Buddha's light shines on the surrounding mountains and rivers. The sentence "Try to be quiet and be bright" turns to the soul of the Buddha's shadow, which can reveal the world of the underworld and see the heart of the world. The words "six dust troubles and five cotton plays" are the words to explain Buddhist teachings. "Six dust" refers to the six realms of color, sound, fragrance, taste, touch and law. Because a person's body has six kinds of eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind, which can purify the soul and six kinds are unclean, it is difficult to get rid of the troubles and pains in the world. The five paths are hell, hungry ghosts, wild animals, human nature and heaven. Buddhism advocates five rounds, that is, reincarnation of life and death and retribution of good and evil. Believe in Buddhism and do good deeds, and the afterlife can enter human nature; Heaven; Destroy the Buddha and do evil, go to hell after death, become a hungry ghost, and be born a beast. Five cycles, reciprocating cycle, endless, retribution is not happy at all. So say "five cotton plays." How can we jump out of the sea of misery and enter the paradise? If you want to get out of the sea of misery, you must use a boat. This ship is not a raft or a boat floating in the rivers and seas in the disaster world, but a "dharma ship" as Buddhists say, so there are two sentences behind it: "It is a boat beam and enlightenment." "Bing" is connected with "Bing", and "ship beam" is a ship and a bridge. Only by persisting in Fa Zhou can we tide over the misery, that is, we can understand the truth of not indulging in misery.

The following four sentences "The car looks beautiful" turn to describe the brilliance of the Buddha's shadow map and connect the first two sentences remotely. The first two sentences praise the Buddha's shadow map from the aspect of form and spirit. Here, they praise the Buddha's shadow map from the hue, and praise its color and image. The hue left to the world is like a piece of red jade, which makes the world see the "golden phase" and "jade phase". The Maha Prajna Paramita Sutra says: "The golden phase is more subtle than Yan Fu and Jin Tan." He added: "The eyebrows are white, and the soft white ones are a lot of cotton." "Jade" means "white", and "Jue" and "Legacy" are written relatively, indicating that this color tone is unique and rare in the world.

At the end of the two sentences, the whole article is taken, which means that a glimpse of the Buddha's shadow can make the faint understand that they believe in Buddhism and do good, follow the example of Anshun and stop doing evil. "Go with the flow and go against it" is hidden from the public by Zuo Zhuan for three years: "Go against it, so it is a quick disaster", but here it is used in the opposite direction. Since doing the opposite is the source of quick disaster, doing the opposite is bound to be the foundation of happiness.

Ode to the Buddha's Shadow is an ode. Liu Xie's Ode to the Literary Mind and Carving Dragons said: "The eulogists are tolerant, so beauty and virtue are described." ..... Praise God and tell God that justice will be pure. "This is an old rule of ode. Bao Zhao seems to have made a breakthrough in his writing. He wrote Buddha's shadow in the form of ode, which was a breakthrough in theme at first. In terms of language style, he used four-character quatrains, just like the fu in the Book of Songs, which was elegant and agile. However, influenced by the couple's writing style in the Six Dynasties, it has many dual elements, which are different from Fu in The Book of Songs and other poems of Bao Zhao. Can be described as a whole.

Ode to the Buddha's Shadow has few words, only 14 sentences and 56 words. But it uses five or six Buddhist allusions. In the aspect of depicting the Buddha's shadow, firstly, it starts with the image itself and depicts the form and appearance of the Buddha's shadow; First, from the perspective of Buddhism and the efficacy of Buddha's shadow, it can be said that the combination of reality and reality is more appropriate.
