Siyang County, called Huaiyang and Taoyuan in ancient times, is a county under the jurisdiction of Suqian City, Jiangsu Province. Located in the north of Jiangsu Province and the east of Suqian City, it belongs to the Yangtze River Delta region, and is a cross-radiation area along the axis of Huaihai Economic Circle, Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle and Canal Town.
Siyang county has no hills and belongs to the floodplain. The overall terrain is high in the west and low in the east, and the relative height of the ground is mostly between 12m- 17m. The soil in Siyang County is divided into three types: fluvo-aquic soil, sandy soil and yellow brown soil. The fluvo-aquic soil has the largest area and the widest distribution, accounting for 83.2% of the total area. The soil quality is poor, accounting for 87.5% of the fourth to fifth grades, and the middle and low yield fields are large.
