Description of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River

1. The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River is world-famous for its beautiful mountains and rivers, precipitous canyons, and the magnificent Three Gorges Dam! During this National Day holiday, I was also fortunate enough to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Three Gorges.

2. The cruise ship we took went up the river and passed Xiling Gorge, Wu Gorge and Qutang Gorge in sequence. Both sides of the strait are covered with rolling mountains, lush trees, and clouds and mist entwining on the top of the mountain, adding a mysterious color. What is more eye-catching are the cliffs on both sides of the strait, the ruins of the ancient plank road and the hanging coffins on the top of the mountain, which are amazing. The most interesting thing is the naughty monkey jumping around on the treetops.

3. The last stop of our tour today is Baidi City, a famous historical and cultural city. Li Bai, the great poet of the Tang Dynasty, once left a famous poem here: Chao Ci Bai Emperor among the colorful clouds, thousands of miles of rivers and mountains are returned in one day, the apes on both sides of the bank can't stop crying, and the light boat has passed the Ten Thousand Mountains. It was already night when we arrived at Baidi City. But under the illumination of various colored lights, Baidi City looks more mysterious and colorful.

4. The first scenic spot we visited was Liu Bei Tuogu: Legend has it that Liu Bei was defeated here during the Three Kingdoms period, and when he was seriously ill, he entrusted his son to the military advisor Zhuge Liang. The lifelike statues seemed to truly reproduce the scene at that time.

5. When we arrived at the dock, we were shocked. At that time, I thought the boat was very small, but it was so big. It was the first time for me to ride on such a big boat. I was filled with excitement about everything on the boat. Curious. We waited for more than ten minutes before the boat finally sailed. The boat blew a loud whistle and took us into the Bali Gorge, the first gorge of the Yellow River thousands of miles away. Bali Gorge is the longest, with sheer cliffs on both sides, making it very spectacular. Looking at the sparkling water on the water, I feel very good! From time to time, birds glide across the lake surface, walking close to the water, leaving sparkling ripples behind. At this time, a gust of cool wind gently blew over my face, which made me feel comfortable. This beautiful scenery gave me the illusion that I was in a painting, everything seemed too beautiful to be true. I came to the top of the boat and admired the mirror-level Gushan Gorge, which was like Penglai Wonderland.

6. At the flagpole of Gushan Gorge, there is a small rock mountain. Its shape is like a lying cow, which is lifelike. I couldn't help but feel a kind of admiration in my heart, thinking: Nature is really a natural builder, able to create such beautiful scenery in the world. The boat slowly sailed towards Longfeng Gorge. Longfeng Gorge and the Phoenix Slope in the canyon complement each other, forming a natural picture of dragon and phoenix in auspiciousness, so beautiful! This kind of beauty can only be understood but cannot be expressed in words. I quietly enjoyed this beautiful scenery. They have different shapes and have their own characteristics: Gushan Gorge is uncanny in its craftsmanship and the peaks are competing for beauty. The Bali Gorge has sharp cliffs and spectacular scenery; the dragons, phoenixes and clouds have nine twists and turns, and the gorge is deep and secluded; between them, the water reflects the mountains, and the mountains surround the water, forming a wonderland-like scene. Every mountain, every water, every thing here is poetic and picturesque, which makes people fascinated. I couldn't help but think of Guo Moruo's poem: "The mountains are majestic and the water is turbid, and the mountains and rivers are surrounded by mountains and rivers struggling to linger." At this time, the boat has docked, and the last ray of sunset on the horizon has been wiped out. We return to the hotel. Tomorrow It will be a new journey - climbing Shennong Mountain!

7. Then, the tour guide introduced us to the thousand-year-old hanging coffin. The hanging coffin is made by hollowing out the wood and placing the body inside. The bones inside are still intact to this day. How the hanging coffin was placed into the cliff is still a mystery. According to scientists, there are two possibilities. The first method is to dig a hole along the stone wall on the mountainside, insert wood into the hole, lay wooden boards on top, go up along the wooden boards, and put the hanging coffin into the cave. The second method is to use ropes to hang people down from the top of the mountain and dig a hole halfway up the mountain, and then use the same method to hang the hanging coffin and put it into the hole. No matter which method is used, it is amazing and makes people admire the wisdom and courage of ancient people.

8. Then we visited the works and inscriptions of many famous poets. It was not until it got very late that we reluctantly boarded the ship and returned. This tour not only allowed me to appreciate the beautiful scenery of the Three Gorges, but also learned a lot of historical knowledge. I believe that in the near future, more Chinese and foreign tourists will visit the Three Gorges.

9. The Three Gorges is definitely a hearty ink painting? Nature uses its uncanny craftsmanship to express itself freely, with shades of dryness and wetness, novelty and beauty, which will leave you dizzying: the thick green river water appears comfortable and carefree under the care of the cliffs, as if lying on its back in the arms of its mother, so flamboyant His personality, hidden in the eyes looking back, is not deliberate, full of mischief, always accumulating strength, ready to jump up and run away at any time? Are there mountains, thousands of ravines, and mountains? The cliffs on both sides of the strait are either white or gray, dry or wet, sometimes wide open and sometimes closed, sometimes standing upright, leaving you with rich imagination: when you are pious, it is a peaceful Bodhisattva; when you are full of pride, it is Yang A horse with hoofs; when you are tender and affectionate, it is a beauty with combed hair? Aren’t the ones standing next to the river just pictures of screens? Those huge footprints can only be left by gods. He must be in a hurry to go up barefoot to take in the unobstructed view of the scenery at the top? The ruins of the plank road on the cliff are long and winding, giving you endless thoughts: Did E Guanbo's Quzi lower his head and chant? Has the picturesque Zhaojun danced her sleeves and wrapped her gauze? The tall and graceful Goddess Peak either looks lonely, or is focused, looking at the setting sun outside the mountain, or sailing under the feet of blessings. Only the streamer-like clouds and the endless river water bear witness to this eternal song. The edges of these imaginations are wrapped in thick green.

At this time, what worries you most is your lack of imagination. You can only watch carefully without moving, not daring to be negligent. Otherwise, another magical landscape painting will be missed.

10. The boat seems not to be moving, but the landscape is deliberately showing its colorful appearance. Clouds and mist curled up from the mountainside, occasionally revealing the humid mountain tops, adding a bit of solemnity. Whether it is the towering cliffs or the rolling mountains, they are full of tenderness towards the water. Either lower your hands to comfort her, or gaze lovingly and let the river play in your arms. The current river retreats quickly, waving to you cheerfully. And when you look far away, the sparkling waves turn the emerald green river surface into a dancing ribbon, until it becomes misty and silent. You can't hear the sound of the waves lapping the shore, but you can feel the surging passion, leading you to sing as much as you want. So, you really want to rush over and express your sincere love.
