Old friends frequently waved to me, bid farewell to the Yellow Crane Tower, and traveled to Yangzhou in this beautiful spring filled with catkins and flowers.
Sailing alone in the blue sky, I can see the Yangtze River flowing in the sky.

[Solution]
This is a farewell poem. Poet Li Bai wrote it when he sent Meng Haoran to Yangzhou. The poet expressed his deep affection and farewell to Meng Haoran by describing the scene of farewell to his old friend and boating in front of the Yellow Crane Tower in spring.
Poetry translation
My old friend left the Yellow Crane Tower in the west. In this warm spring in bloom in March, he went down to Yangzhou by boat. Looking into the distance, the shadow of the solitary sail faded away at the end of the blue sky, only to see the mighty Yangtze River rushing to the horizon.
