In 1278 AD (the first year of Song Xiangxing), Wen Tianxiang was defeated and captured in Wupoling, Haifeng, Guangdong Province, and was taken to a ship. He wrote this poem the following year when crossing Lingdingyang. Later, he was escorted to the cliff mountain, and Zhang Hongfan forced him to write a letter to surrender Zhang Shijie, Lu Xiufu and others who stuck to the cliff mountain. Wen Tianxiang refused to obey and showed this poem to show his ambition.
once hard work comes, there are few stars around.
the mountains and rivers are broken and the wind is floating, and the life experience is ups and downs.
fear is said on the beach, and there is a sigh in the ocean.
since ancient times, no one has died, so we should take care of our history.
Tan Sitong's poem
This poem was inscribed on the prison wall by Tan Sitong before his death. On June 11th, 1898, Emperor Guangxu promulgated the imperial edict of "Ming Ding Guo Shi" and announced the political reform. On September 21st, 1898, Empress Dowager Cixi staged a coup, imprisoned Emperor Guangxu and began to raid and slaughter reformists. At that time, Tan Sitong refused the advice of others to ask him to escape (Kang Youwei fled to Hong Kong via Shanghai and Liang Qichao fled to Japan via Tianjin), determined to die, and was willing to wake up and warn the people with his life. He said: "Every country's political reforms are all caused by bloodshed. Today, there is no bloodshed in China because of political reforms, and this country is not prosperous. If there is, please start from the beginning. "
I'm desperate to stop thinking about James Zhang,
I'm desperate to treat Dugan for a moment.
I smile at the sky from the horizontal knife,
Go to stay in the Kunlun Mountains, both liver and gallbladder
Xia Minghan
In the winter of 1921, Xia Minghan joined the China * * * production party. After joining the Party, Xia Minghan engaged in the workers' movement in Changsha, and took part in leading the strike struggle of rickshaw workers.
In early 1928, Xia Minghan was transferred to Hubei by the Party and served as the Standing Committee of Hubei Provincial Committee. Due to the traitor's betrayal, he was unfortunately arrested by the enemy in Wuhan on March 18 of the same year. On the morning of March 2th, he was escorted by the enemy to the execution ground in Yujili, Hankou. When the enemy executive asked Xia Minghan what else he had to say, he shouted, "Yes, bring me a pen and paper!" Therefore, Xia Minghan wrote a righteous poem.
"beheading doesn't matter,
as long as the doctrine is true.
kill Xia Minghan,
and others will come!
