Seeking poetry from Yunnan scenery, flowers, snow and moon
The wind, flowers, snow and moon refer to the Xiaguan wind blowing all the year round, the famous Shangguan flower, and the beautiful Erhai moon without the snow in summer. The four scenes of "romantic scenery" complement each other and ignite the unique beauty of Dali. The local Bai people have a riddle poem that has been handed down to this day. The poem says: When insects enter the phoenix nest, no birds (wind) are seen, seven people put grass (flowers) on their heads, and under the drizzle, Hengshan Mountain rises (snow), and half of their friends are gone (moon).
