Murals and reliefs, one with a brush and the other with a chisel, are two different art fields in other national art categories. But in ancient Egypt, reliefs were colored to produce decorative effects equivalent to paintings.
Unique programming rules
Egyptians were the first to use programming rules to create decorative beauty. In all kinds of works of art in ancient Egypt, almost all of them follow the "procedural law" of religious kingship symbol and modeling, and follow the same means of expression, similar themes, even the same posture and similar costumes.
1. Conceptual stylization

2. Stylistic modeling
(1) The description method is rigorous. Strict proportion is formed according to the restriction of mathematical and geometric proportion, which creates a highly stylized decorative aesthetic feeling of ancient Egyptian art.
