The main case of literati committing crimes is "literary inquisition", which basically happened in every dynasty in China. The most representative cases are Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong dynasties in the Qing Dynasty, and the representative events are "Ming Shi Case" and "Hu Zhongzao Prison". Another example is the sentence written by a scholar in the Qing Dynasty, "The breeze can't read, so why turn over the books?". It was originally a neat and vivid poem, but it was killed because of the taboo of the founding of the Qing minority.
