Three Original Poems by Cui Qiupu _ Translation and Appreciation

I love Cui Qiupu. It's like Tao Lingfeng. There are five willows in front of the door and two phoenix trees in the well. Birds in the hall, flowers and wine on the eaves. Huai army didn't hold back, melancholy. Cuiling learns from Ling Tao, and the north window often sleeps by day. When playing the piano, make a moon, which means no strings. Guests don't like money but pour wine. In the spring of Gaodong, the planted millet returned to the field early. Heyang became a county, and Qiupuyu was a man. The land is famous for its virtue, and the wind will turn to spring. The water falls from the sky, and the mountain forces the painting screen to be new. We should remember the tourists in Kinmen and throw the sand to Chen. -Li Bai wrote three poems for Cui Qiupu in the Tang Dynasty: Li Bai.

Guests don't like money but pour wine.

In the spring of Gaodong, the planted millet returned to the field early.

Romantic writing translation, praise, lyric and annotation translation

I like Cui Qiupu, who has the demeanor of Tao Yuanming.

Five willows were planted in front of the door, and two Wu Tong trees grew on the well.

Birds landed in the hall, and Tang Qian's petals floated into the wine.

You are reluctant to leave, and your heart is full of endless melancholy.

Cui county magistrate ordered TaoJingJie, sleep under the north window during the day.

Sometimes I play the piano under the moon for fun and make it string-free.

Pour the wine when you see the guests coming. Officials are not greedy for money.

There are many varieties of millet in Dong Tian. I suggest you plough the land as soon as possible.

Heyang takes flowers as its county, and Qiupu takes jade as its people.

Celebrities come forth in large numbers here, and the local conditions and customs are as cultured as spring.

Jiuhuashan Waterfall is like the Milky Way, and the water near the mountain is like a new painting screen.

I should pity my Golden Gate guest and go to Changsha to mourn Qu Yuan.

Creation background In the 14th year of Tianbao reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (755), Li Bai lived in Xuancheng County (now Xuancheng City, Anhui Province) and visited Cui Qin, then the county magistrate of Qiupu (now Chizhou City, Anhui Province). This poem was written at this time. Appreciating this group of poems is to praise Cui Qiupu's character and politics of governing the people, and to show Li Bai's life values, political ideals and virtue and talent of being an official. The whole article consists of three poems, but each has its own key points, which together form a perfect whole. Therefore, the theme of "writing three poems for Cui Qiupu" has always been, and it is by no means to piece together three unrelated poems under one poem title. Each of the three poems has eight sentences, which adds up to twenty-four sentences. This is the second and third common division of ancient poetry. Of course, there are also blank lines to divide them, indicating that they are independent chapters.

The first poem is about Feng Fan, the magistrate of Qiupu County, Cui Mou. It is always written and always expresses feelings. The poem comes straight to the point and directly cuts into the theme, "I love Cui Qiupu, but I am like a Tao Lingfeng", which shows my deep love for Cui Qiupu with a calling sentence. This sudden stroke naturally brought people into the poet's fanaticism. Then he added the reason why he loves Cui Qiupu. Cui is a county magistrate, just like the county magistrate in pengze county. Formerly known as Tao Yuanming, it was renamed Qian because of the elimination of Jin. Tao Yuanming was born in a big family. When he was young, he was ambitious and saved time and effort. However, in troubled times, powerful people competed for the throne. Although he once served as a staff officer in the army of Zhenjun and General Jianwei, he could not show his ambition. Later, as Peng, he said to his relatives and friends, "I want to sing a string of songs and think it is the capital of three paths." That is to say, rule the land with rites and music, and receive official salaries for future seclusion. Ling Tao's style, which Li Bai admired, was to be an official, to teach etiquette and music, not to admire Li Rong, regardless of gains and losses, and Ren Zhen was complacent and did not bend over for the powerful. Nature is nature, * * * Qiushan, so at the time of generation replacement, I abandoned my post and retired, in order to preserve the truth. Ling Tao is Li Zicheng's ideal official image and a model of being a man. Tao Yuanming and I also have similarities in thought and personality. In the dark court, he was pushed out many times, forced to go to the table and asked to go back to the mountain. Among the local officials, Cui was found to be a ceramic official, and found a bosom friend, so he changed from exclaiming to loving deeply. The first two sentences summarize the narrative, connect the excitement and delay, deepen the feelings and arouse people's reverence for Cui county magistrate. However, I am eager to know his style towards Ling Tao.

Then the poet described his Ling Tao style in four poems. "There are five willows in front, and there are two phoenix trees in Inoue. Mountain birds listen to things, and wine falls from the eaves. " These four poems are about the quiet environment of his official residence and house, with five willows in front of the door and two buttonwood trees by the well. The mountain birds in the official hall freely came in and out, causing the flowers and leaves on the eaves to fall into the glass. The environment is beautiful, and the images of willow and phoenix tree are all showing the protagonist's character and aesthetic taste, which is also caused by the careful arrangement of the owner. These two sentences are allusions, and Tao Yuanming is rarely interested. His article Biography of Mr. Wu Liu defended himself: "I don't know who Mr. Wu is, and I don't know his surname;" There are five willows beside the house, because I think there are several. " Then the article describes the characteristics of Mr. Wu Liu: "I am quiet and don't like talking, I don't care about honor and interests, I like reading, I don't want to know too much, and I forget to eat every time I know something." Sexual alcoholism ","I amuse myself with articles, and forget the gains and losses by showing my ambition. " The poet used this allusion to express Cui's demeanor. Indus is a beautiful image, and phoenix is not a phoenix. Yuan Xingguo said, "There is only one abandoned well left, and two tung trees have been caught. "The poet uses this code to cover up the good character of the protagonist. Good taste, good character and perfect form and spirit. It is precisely because of the use of these two allusions that Tao Lingfeng is concrete, that is, Cui Ling's ideological character is concrete and visual, and the reality is nothingness. It is deeper than direct narration and has strong emotional charm. In this way, the people are the officials, the people are the foundation, inaction is the rule, the people are happy, and litigation is beneficial. The county magistrate enjoyed himself, drinking and writing poems, playing the piano and realizing the Tao, so happy that he forgot to eat. Mountain bird sentence is also a classic. According to the Old Biography of Yidu Article, the scenery is the prefect of Yizhou, which is graceful and smooth, and there is a pigeon nest to listen to things. Hu Sansheng explained that the hearing is an atrium where people are investigated and prosecuted. The poet used this code name to show that the county magistrate Cui Mou ruled the place, the people were happy, the people had no lawsuit, and the government was harmonious. This is consistent with Ling Tao's ideal of governing string songs, and can also be called the connotation of Ling Tao's wind. The last poem is translated into He Xun's poem: "The swallow is still flying in the play, and the eaves are stiff", which shows that the protagonist is in a leisurely mood and likes to drink in the hall. Mountains freely enter and leave the hall, eaves freely fall on the glass, everything happens naturally, and poets enjoy it. Tao Yuanming's natural character is vividly portrayed. In a word, these four poems use classic and predecessors' poems to create a quiet and pure poetic mood, showing Cui Xianling's ideological character and political talent. Take care of the beginning, describe it appropriately, and have rich connotations, which complement each other. At this point, the development of poetry will inevitably force the ending: "I can't bear it, and my feelings are endless." First I can't bear to leave, then I can't bear to say goodbye. Long aftertaste, endless aftertaste.

This poem depicts the charm and beauty of Cui Ling through direct and indirect description.

The second song focuses on Cui Ling's image and behavior. The first two sentences come straight to the point, pointing out that "Cui Lingxue Ling Tao" means learning from Tao Yuanming. What do you want to learn from Tao Yuanming? Learn from Tao Yuanming's "Sleeping High in the North Window" and call yourself the master of Xidi. Because the official office is quiet during the day and there is no lawsuit, you can naturally learn to sleep during the day. The two poems written by Cui Ling, like Ling Tao, focus on the safety of the people and the litigation safety of the people in governing the local government. "I do nothing and the people make it", and I lie idle in the north window to fix the truth. It shows the meaning of Cui Ling's honesty, political integrity and outstanding political achievements. Two poems, simple and natural, have both form and spirit.

Three or four sentences complement Cui's style of Tao, "playing the piano and making the moon, taking meaning without strings." There is a record in the biography of Song Shu in seclusion:' There is no sound, but there is a piano without strings. Every time there is wine, you need to fondle it to send it. "This is what these two sentences mean when translated. In the evening, I write Cuiling, drink and enjoy the moon, and play the piano and enjoy the moon. Although the piano has no strings, its purpose is to get its own taste. The ancients often said that life is expensive in comfort. Comfort is to be satisfied psychologically and keep a calm and cheerful attitude. Thoughts and feelings are carefree. These two words of Cui and Tao imply his political success. Folk music is clear and clear, and there is nothing else to ask for, but wine and piano to show the feeling of having fun with the people. Cultivate truth, not personal fame and fortune, and hate the desire for women and voices. Such officials were rare in the prosperous Tang Dynasty when Li Bai lived, which inevitably contained Li Bai's idealism.

Five or six sentences are both narrative and turning point. "Pour wine at the sight of guests", Tao Yuanming recorded in "Song Shu Seclusion Biography": "Those who are noble have wine. If you get drunk first, you will say,' I'm drunk and sleepy, you can go.' It's true. Tao Yuanming also said in "Biography of Mr. May 6th": "Sexual alcoholism. "Because of this, the guests treated each other with wine and drank it off. Treat people honestly without worldly hypocrisy. Like Ling Tao, Cuiling treats guests with wine and sees the truth with wine, which is similar to Li Bai's personality, so Cuiling is associated with Ling Tao. Take Suirei, which has the same wind as Ling Tao. The poem seems to have been finished when it was written here, but suddenly, it was written that Cui Ling did not love money for the official. This poem still uses Tao Yuanming's allusions, "I want to sing a string of songs and think I have three talents" for Peng, and "I don't bow down to the village people (referring to the county governor) for Wudoumi." In feudal society, scholars sought officials, not only seeking fame and profit, but also plundering the fat of the people. The poet used a full-name negative sentence. Denying Cui Ling as an official is different from the pursuit of fame and fortune by ordinary scholars, but weaker than fame and fortune. Being an official is not for fame and fortune. Why? Nature means serving the people. Negative sentences embody the meaning of serving the people. This is the finishing touch, a natural pen. Therefore, it turned out to be a very high realm and a deep philosophy. In the first five sentences, Cui Ling's ideological interest is just like Ling Tao's. From his trivial description of being an honest official, it is reflected that he has a good way of governing the people and is in a happy situation, so he feels at ease. The fundamental truth is that the county magistrate is an official for the people, not for fame and fortune. For the officials and the people, relieve the people's difficulties. Make it comfortable. Being an official is insatiable for fame and fortune. The two are diametrically opposed. Perhaps this is the difference between an honest official and a corrupt official. Later, Liu Zongyuan put forward the brilliant idea of "serving the people (public servants) and not serving the people".

At the end of the poem, the poet's emotion is two sentences: "There are all kinds of millet in Gaodong, so I advise you to plow the fields as soon as possible." It is suggested and hoped that Cuiling, like Ling Tao, planted Gaodong and many kinds of millet (yellow rice). Tao Yuanming, in the name of Peng, went to the official position and delivered a farewell speech. "Wealth is not my wish, and the emperor's hometown cannot be expected." When you are pregnant, you can go alone or plant a stick. Deng and He Lin wrote poems together. Chatting and riding until the end, Loew's fate began again. "That is the meaning of the last two sentences. Return to cultivation and adapt, Lotte know life. Don't be an official again, cling to the emperor's hometown and pursue wealth against your will. Guan Yu began to learn Ling Tao's sentences.

This poem is famous because of Cui Ling, but it is based on the prototype and belongs to Cui. The two are born together, nourishing the spirit with form. Reality and ideal are seamlessly combined. However, it reveals that the imperial court does not attach importance to talents, and there are many contradictions in officialdom, so it should retire as soon as possible.

The third song is about the customs and beautiful natural environment of Qiupu County, in order to praise Cui Ling's achievements. The poem begins with two sentences, "Heyanghua is the county, and Qiupuyu is the man." Pan Yue, a native of Jin Dynasty, was appointed as the magistrate of Heyang County, making people peach and plum, and was called the flower of Heyang. This is a metaphor for Cui Ling to beautify the people with flowers, which symbolizes the lofty and beautiful spiritual realm of the people and is full of vitality. Pei Kai, a man in Jin Dynasty, was tall, powerful, handsome, well-read and extremely elegant and rational, so he was called Jade Man. This is also the comparison between Cui Lingfeng and his knowledge and his admiration. Jade is precious and cherished by the ancients because it is clean and flawless. These two sentences use allusions to learn from Mei Cuiling's achievements and elegant demeanor. He is a beautiful and spotless official.

Three or four sentences change their style and describe the regional customs in an indirect way to supplement the beauty of their political achievements. "The land is famous, and the wind follows you in spring." Qiupu county is famous for its famous county magistrate Cui, and its folk custom has changed from Cui to spring. Spring is back, a country ruled by wise men. The rule of benefiting the people makes the people return to the spring, so the county name is also good, which is intended to praise Cuiling, which governs the county, to show the intention of selecting and appointing talents.

Five or six sentences, turn to the natural environment. "The water falls from the sky, and the mountain forces a new screen." Jiuhuashan Waterfall in Qiupu County seems to have fallen from the Milky Way, with magnificent momentum and simple and natural artistic conception. Jiuhua Mountain is as fresh and lovely as the indoor painted scenery. It's like being in a picture and feeling the scenery. On the surface, it seems that it has nothing to do with the first four sentences, but it is actually the inevitable development of his poetry. It is a symbolic technique, and the mountains and rivers of Qiupu are also brilliant because of the management of Cuiling. Water falls from the sky, mountains are new, and the spirit is multiplied, which is incomparable to non-craftsmen. I always feel that there is a poetic surge, which is the poet's praise for Cui Ling's feelings, expressed by mountains and rivers, and expressed by the pen of mountains and rivers. Just as the cloud is the satrap of Jingling, people are full of praise for it.

At the end of the poem, two sentences: "We should remember the Golden Gate guest and cast sand to mourn the Minister of Chu" is the pen of the poet's hope. These two poems are also allusions, the name of the Golden Horse Gate, the palace gate of the Han Dynasty, and the bronze horse beside the gate, so it is called the Golden Horse Gate. The talents recruited by the Han Dynasty imperial court made them wait for the Golden Horse Gate. Han Dong Fang Shuo once sang: "Lu Chen is vulgar and avoids the Golden Horse Gate." Li Bai used this code to describe that he had been waiting for a letter from the Imperial Academy. He was abandoned like a scholar in Dong Fangshuo and avoided the Golden Horse Gate. Now he was expelled from the imperial court and became a guest of Cui county magistrate. The phrase "throwing sand" is also a classic. When Emperor Wen of Han was a teenager, Jia Yi had outstanding knowledge. Appreciated and reused by Emperor Wen, he was promoted to be a great doctor. Therefore, he was opposed and resented by the conservative old bureaucrats and was demoted as the teacher of Changsha King. Jia Yi went to Changsha and paid tribute to Qu Yuan in Miluo. Li Bai used this allusion to describe his talent and experience with Jia Yi, and also wanted to be the one who hanged Qu Yuan. These two poems implicitly express their intelligence, patriotism and uneven experience with allusions, reflecting that talent taboo is not only deepening poetry, but also a social phenomenon in history and reality. The word "should read" dominates the last two sentences, hoping that Cui county magistrate will think of himself as a frustrated person. The implication is that county magistrate Cui should know himself and not forget to report himself. At the same time, I have regarded Cui Xianling as a confidant, and I sincerely love him, and I can't bear to part. In a word, it reflects the deep friendship between them. Take care of the first two sentences and start with "I love Cui Qiupu" to bring readers into an emotional upsurge; It ends with Cui Qiupu's eternal love for himself, pushing readers to the peak of emotion and keeping it forever.

Li Bai (70 1-762), the word Taibai, was a romantic poet in the Tang Dynasty and was praised as a "poetic immortal" by later generations. My ancestral home is Ji Cheng in Longxi (to be tested), and I was born in Broken Leaf City in the Western Regions. At the age of 4, he moved to Mianzhou City, Jiannan Province with his father. Li Bai has more than 1000 poems, among which Li Taibai Ji has been handed down from generation to generation. He died in 762 at the age of 6 1. Its tomb is in Dangtu, Anhui, and there are memorial halls in Jiangyou, Sichuan and Anlu, Hubei. Lipper
