This poem was written by Yang Wanli, a poet in the Song Dynasty.

The poem is called Xiaochi.

The whole poem is as follows:

Spring is silent, cherish the trickle. The shade of the tree was softened by water. ? Xiao-he just showed his sharp corners. Dragonflies have long stood on it.

Note: 1. The outlet of the spring.

2. pity: pity.

3. according to the water: reflected in the water.

4. Soft sunshine: soft scenery on sunny days.

5. Sharp corner: the unstretched lotus leaf tip at the initial water outlet.

6. Top: Top, top. In order to rhyme, "head" is not read softly.

Translation:

Spring is silent because it can't stand the thin water flow, and the shade reflects the water because it loves sunny days and the softness of the wind.

The delicate little lotus leaf just emerged from the sharp corner of the water, and a naughty little dragonfly stood on it early.
