You should continue to be a poet in Datang, who taught you to leave so suddenly. People are like floating clouds, and I can't keep you if I want to. I hope you can live everywhere, forgive me for being unnatural, and it is futile to call back your life. I hope you can be happy and skillfully embed the names and words of the deceased within nine days.
You are famous in the Tang Dynasty, and your poems shine on your descendants. Even children can sing songs of everlasting regret, and Hu people can play pipa. Your merits and reputation are well known, and I will miss you forever.

After Li Chen ascended the throne, he was good at listening and judging, and the country was governed. "For more than ten years, people have been praising this road endlessly." Historically speaking, "China's language and scenery are not enough." Xuanzong not only had political talent, but also loved poetry. He has great respect for Bai Juyi. However, five months after Emperor Xuanzong ascended the throne, that is, in August of the sixth year of Huichang, 75-year-old Bai Juyi died unfortunately. Tang Xuanzong was heartbroken and wrote this song "Hanging Bai Juyi".
