The Zhaoling Mausoleum is the joint burial mausoleum of Emperor Taizong Li Shimin of the Tang Dynasty and the Changsun family of Empress Wende. It is located on Jiuwei Mountain 22.5 kilometers northwest of Liquan County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province. It is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.
From the 10th year of Tang Zhenguan (636), when Empress Wende’s eldest son was first buried, to the 29th year of Kaiyuan (743), the construction of Zhaoling lasted for 107 years, with a circumference of 60 kilometers. Covering an area of ??200 square kilometers and containing more than 180 tombs, it is the "Eighteen Tombs of the Tang Dynasty" in Guanzhong. It is also the largest imperial cemetery in China and has the most tombs; it is a representative tomb of the Tang Dynasty. An imperial mausoleum, known as the "famous mausoleum in the world".

Died of illness
In the 23rd year of Zhenguan (649), Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty fell ill (some say it was caused by taking Tianzhu longevity medicine) ), the treatment was ultimately ineffective, and Li Zhi was ordered to go to Jinyemen to act as state agent.
On the 26th day of May in the 23rd year of Zhenguan (July 10, 649), Taizong died in the Hanfeng Hall of Cuiwei Palace on Zhongnan Mountain. He was given the posthumous title of Emperor Wen at the beginning, his temple name was Taizong, and he was buried in Zhaoling.
In the first year of Shangyuan (674), Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty was given the posthumous title of Emperor Wenwu. In the eighth year of Tianbao (749), Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty was given the posthumous title of Emperor Wenwu. In the thirteenth year of Tianbao (754), he was given the title of Wenwu. General Comment
The literary and martial arts of Emperor Taizong Li Shimin of the Tang Dynasty have been talked about and praised by people since ancient times.
