How did Du Fu die? Ask god for help
During the Anshi Rebellion, "Hunger" was still the lingering shadow of Du Fu. In the wandering years, he picked oak chestnuts and dug wild taro, and when he struggled to Sichuan, he was already terminally ill. In Du Fu's poems, there is such heartfelt sympathy and pity for the poor, so it is not that his own efforts are too heavy. Du Fu's death is also closely related to hunger. After leaving Sichuan, Du Fu lived in Hunan, was besieged by a sudden flood and was hungry for nine days in a row. The local county magistrate rescued Du Fu by boat and entertained him with beef and white wine. Du Fu, a rare glutton, died of drunkenness that night.
