Bing Xin, as a famous poet in the May 4th Movement, is associated with Stars and Spring Water. There are 164 "Stars" and 182 "Spring Water", which were mainly published in the Morning Post Supplement in 1922. The short poems have no separate titles, but are arranged according to serial numbers. In 1923, two groups of poems were successively collected and published by Commercial Press and Xinchao Society respectively. It caused a strong response at that time.
Bing Xin (October 5, 19-February 28, 1999), female, originally named Xie Wanying, was born in Changle District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, and was a member of China Association for the Promotion of Democracy (DPP). China poet, modern writer, translator, children's literature writer, social activist and essayist. The pen name Bing Xin is taken from "A piece of Bing Xin is in the jade pot". At 21: 12 on February 28th, 1999, Bing Xin died in Beijing Hospital at the age of 99, and was called "the old man of the century".
