What are the first two lines of the poem "Others have swords and I have a pen like a knife"

While others have swords, I have a pen as sharp as a knife. The first two sentences of this poem mean that I have learned many talents since I was a child and have high ambitions throughout my life.

Have been talented and learned since childhood, and have high ambitions in life. It means: one is well-read in classics and history, full of talents, and has lofty ambitions.

Others have swords, but I have pens like swords: It shows that one’s ambitions are different from others. Many people’s ambitions are to gallop on the battlefield and achieve meritorious service and become a lord. But my ambition is to follow literature and use the "pen" as a weapon.

Expansion:

From "Poems of Prodigy".

One volume of "Poems of Prodigy", written by Wang Zhu in the Song Dynasty. Later generations based on some of Wang Zhu's poems and added other people's poems to compile "Poems of the Prodigy". In fact, the "Poems of Prodigy" handed down from generation to generation are not all the works of young prodigies, nor are they all written by Wang Zhu alone. Instead, they have been edited and revised from generation to generation, adding poems from the Sui, Tang, and even the Southern and Northern Dynasties. Most of the chapter titles are added separately. The poems are all five-character quatrains with neat rhythm and the text is easy to understand. It is a suitable model for young people to learn poetry.
