English poems praising mothers

An English poem praising mother can be written like this:

“M” is for the million things she gave me, “O” means only that she is growing old, “T” is for the tears she shed to save me, "H" is for her heart of purest gold, "E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining, "R" means right, and right she will always be.

Put them all together, they spell “MOTHER”,A word that means the world to me.

---Howard Johnson (c.1915)

Translation: M represents that mother has given us everything, O represents that she is aging at the same time, T represents the tears she shed to save us, H represents her most selfless and greatest heart, and E represents her tenderness full of love. Eyes, R says right and represents her eternal truth.

Putting them together is mother, a word that represents the most selfless and greatest person who has given me everything.
