Xiaonan River is one of the three rivers in the ancient town and is part of the Three Rivers Scenic Area. Sanhe Town is named after the three rivers Fengle River, Hangbu River and Xiaonan River that run through it. It has a history of more than 2,500 years. As early as the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the town had already taken shape. Sanhe was called "Quezhu" in ancient times, and was originally called "Que'an" during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. It was an important place where Wu and Chu fought for each other. In 510 BC, the famous general Wu Zixu led his army to defeat the Chu army here. During the Three Kingdoms period, Cao Cao, the leader of Wei, trained his navy in Chaohu, and Sanhe was also where the Wei army was stationed. After the Jin Dynasty, it was called "Quezhu Town", and in the Ming Dynasty, it was called Sanhe Town. In 1858, the Taiping Army also had a fierce battle here, leaving behind many historical relics, such as the city wall and the Tianwang Mansion courtyard.
Sanhe Town is also a typical ancient water town, and its landscape style is no less than that of Zhouzhuang in southern Jiangsu. At the same time, it combines rich cultural landscapes to form the unique "eight ancient" landscapes in the Jianghuai region, namely ancient rivers, ancient bridges, ancient fairs, ancient streets, ancient residences, ancient teahouses and ancient battlefields. Because it is located at the junction of Feixi, Shucheng and Lujiang counties, and also the junction of Hefei, Chaohu and Lu'an cities, there is a saying that "one step crosses three counties, and you can hear the cockcrow in three counties". "There are three hundred and sixty branches around, turning into yellow geese for a while." This is a poem from Qing Dynasty poet Xue Zizhi's "Chaohu Spring Rise". Yellow goose is fine wine. Xiaonan River is one of the 360 ??branches of Chaohu Lake. Known as the granary, Tongdawei and Shidawei in Tongda Town, Lujiang County, are surrounded by water. This water is the meandering Xiaonan River. Whenever I hear "a big river with wide waves and wind blowing the fragrance of rice flowers on both sides", the first thing that comes to mind is not the Yangtze River or the Yellow River, but the Xiaonan River that is closely related to my hometown. My home is located in a village one mile away from Xiaonan River. Although Xiaonan River is only a stone's throw away from my home, when I was a child, I only had a partial understanding of Xiaonan River from adults' descriptions. At the foot of my polder, there is a caecum-like dry river, which is also a tributary of the Xiaonan River. We swim in the dry river and fight the waves. A well-informed friend said that the Xiaonan River in Duixu is called a big river. I asked how old? The partner stretches his arms in a gesture of great breadth. It wasn’t until I was seven years old that I realized the “bigness” of Xiao Nanhe. That year, there was a flash flood. Standing on the polder, I could swing my feet. When I first saw the Xiaonan River, the raging water made my eyes swell and hurt. Compared with it, the dry river is nothing like a river. Later, I went to the primary school in the village to study. Every day, I walked with Xiao Nanhe. Although it is hard to smell "every family's flute in Yupu", we can see "sails and boats everywhere". The tall mast, with a piece of canvas hanging on it, contrasts well with the geese chicks with white fur floating on the green water and red palms playing with the clear waves. It is much more spectacular and majestic than the solitary one with the sail hanging in the wind. On days when there is no wind or no wind, the boatmen have no choice but to carry their ropes on their backs. One person holds the pole on the side of the boat, while a few people bend their backs on the river beach. The thick ropes become a stretched straight waterway. We witnessed thousands of sails racing and hundreds of boats vying for the current, and looked at the shadow of Laoshan Tower in the distance, "The blue sky is enough to write an eight-foot book." We guessed that these boats were going down the Baishan Mountains or to Chaohu along the winding Xiaonan River? There is a saying in ancient times: "Where can a sail be dragged by the wind?" As the saying goes: If you are close to the mountains, you will eat the mountains; if you are close to the water, you will eat the water. Someone made a jingle for the five brigades of our commune, called "Shi Po's net, Changfeng's bamboo, Nanhe's food, Hengxi's pen, Zhu Chen's mat." Among them, the characteristics of the three villages located on the river bank are all the same. Xiaonanhe is closely related. Every family in our village builds nets and fishes. Xiaonanhe has become an Internet company, setting traps, pulling reels, and casting nets. This made the cadres helpless and said that the people in our village "were dragging shrimp nets and fishing nets, and they had to earn seven or eight yuan a day, so how could they bother to imitate Dazhai?" There are many ospreys in Nanhe Village in Xiaonanhe, and it is also the headquarters of a commune, so it is inevitable to eat hot and spicy food. A few ospreys were making trouble in the river, really disturbing the weather. Even the crescent moon was picked up by the ospreys as if it were a lively fish and was picked up on the sampan. As for Zhu Chen's seat, it is well-deserved. Because it is located in the lower reaches of the Xiaonan River, the water is gentle and has created a large tidal flat and swamp. It is planted with reeds. It is simply a replica of Shajiabang where water birds gather, rice flowers and willows line up. However, what appears and disappears in Hedian is not the sick and wounded of the New Fourth Army, but the naked children having water fights. To this day, I still remember picking lotus roots, picking water chestnuts, catching dragonflies, chasing wild ducks, fishing for water hyacinths, and touching snails in the lotus pond hidden among the reeds... The most legendary one is a man in the village who lives in Chaohu. In the land of fish and rice, the Xiaonan River flows through it, and he actually marries a beautiful girl from thousands of miles away and becomes his wife. A wise man enjoys water, so Xiao Nanhe accidentally became a matchmaker.
Later, in order to prevent floods, the upper reaches of the Xiaonan River were cut off and turned into a sourceless water; downstream, reinforced concrete control gates firmly tied the dragon. The running water is not rotten. The water level of the Xiaonan River, which has become a stagnant river, has dropped, exposing the river bed to algae reproduction. The fish in the river are like loaches in the nests and cannot survive. The vegetation on both sides of the river has declined and withered. The old scene of "the wild geese floating in the clouds, the fishermen's songs at the ancient ferry" has been lost to the blue waves of the river, and is hard to find. The dry water in half the river is intermittent and complaining, let alone the "yellow goose" brewing fine wine and jade liquid. Even drinking is not satisfactory.
In the past, "Lang Tao Sha", "Fishermen's Proud" and "Shui Tiao Ge Tou" have now degenerated to the point where only the village girls' "Huanxi Sha" is left. The drizzle fish emerges from the vast and quiet Xiaonan River and becomes a To the backwater river that is indistinguishable from the dry river in our village! The day before yesterday, I read "The Boat Returns from Three Rivers on a Moonlit Night" written by Cui Mian, a hermit who lived in the Ming Dynasty: The fish road blew the fire, the starlight called the nightingale; the sails were divided into far and near, the solitary island disappeared into the vastness... Xiaonan River is where he returned from the ancient town of Sanhe. The only way to reach the nest, the poem should be about what he saw and heard while boating on the Xiaonan River. Alas, the bright crescent moon has long been silted up by the beach of Xiaonan River, rusting along with the sound of oars and the anchor chain.
